Inspiration. Motivation. Education. Appreciation. Thanks fellas.
On a personal note, these lessons, all of them, are the most effective learning experience for a 44 year old player like me. This have been the best video lessons format I have always had. I REALLY APPRECIATE! Keep them coming!!!!!!!!!!!!
when i start watching this chanel i guess 2 years ago i didnt know anything about guitars or how to play now i can build my own guitar x)) and i start playing in few coffes and little gigs thnx to u guys and few other youtubers all what i lurn about guitars is from youtube i didnt take lessons i didnt read any books everything from youtube and i m still lurning i hopr one day i will visit andertons and have a little jam with u guys thnx alooot
I think what Ariel often does so nicely is highlight the most prettiest note of the chord which is often the 6th, but most of the time the major 7th. They both play really nicely and fluidly though, I wish I could play like that one day
This is a masterclass. I'm going to have to watch this several times to try and understand it all. Pete and Ariel are so talented.
Gotta love guitarists that know what they’re doing
This is the type of content I find really enjoyable as an intermediate player.
Ariel is so good. Imagine an improvisation tutorial with him and Josh Smith
This is the best guitar lesson EVER !!!!
MORE THEORY PLEASE ARIEL!

That is deep thinking stuff!!! A bit rough at 6am with a coffee!!! I will listen to this video again at night, with a nice glass of 20 year old scotch and my guitar ready!!! Really interesting subject. Lots of info to process!!!
I'm also privileged to have played over this track with Ariel and Pete in person using Pete's Duesenberg on a guitar breaks holiday. A special moment for me.

It was through a company called Guitar Breaks (www.guitar-breaks.com/) It's run my a lovely guy called Ian. It was basically a week of hanging out with Pete, Ariel and Rabea and we covered exactly what they talk about in this lesson. It was such a good experience. I highly recommend it.
Ariel and pete nailed it again. You guys are cool, you defo need to do this again!!
Ariel's theory of playing like a singer just changed the way i play guitar with a few sentences. #MindBlown
yes. more please. more of this. please. thank you. more. thanks.
"Comparison is the thief of joy" Great discussion fellas
2 nice, clever and tasteful guitar players ! Thank you for sharing your approachs !
I have no idea what you're saying, but I appreciated it. I play the momma notes when the song is to be pretty and the dad notes when the songs get burly.
This was great! MORE please, so useful to hear different takes on an approach to soloing. Thanks guys.
Ariel reminds me of Larry Carlton playing. Excellent y'all!
The best outro jam you’ve guys have done. Especially the call and response bit. Awesome
Melody and harmony man. That is what makes music enjoyable and memorable not a million notes at once and scales over and over.
I walked in after this started and i thought Capt. was playing that slide piece!
Just great - and good balance of info from two masters ...well put across - Thanks
Two great players sharing there experince and wisdom ....love it !
I discovered The Bros Landreth and Big Wreck from your channel and they have become my favourites! Thank you.
Pete is fantastic player. His licks are so full of soul.
The single best Andertons TV ever!!! You guys need to do more vids like this one! One dedicated to the blues, or soul improv would be awesome!
that first slide lick ariel played at the end? bro... I cried...
I want this video played at my funeral.
Great Episode ! Please do more !
Every time Ariel talked about his background I'm screaming inside because I found out my friend teaches at the same place Ariel used to. Wpg pride!
This video is sooooo good, I'd love to see more of this stuff
Smooth, dynamic with feeling, the superlatives just roll off the fingers.❤️
More of these please. I learned so much from this episode and was reminded to relax and enjoy the learning process.
Holy shit. The guitar playing right here. I got goosebumps everywhere.
Thankyou guys for putting this together. I learn't some valuable approaches to mindful note choices, and went and bought the backing track. Thanks for supplying the chord progression, the whole package is very useful and sincerely appreciated. i hope you can do this more often. cheers
You guys are on point! Love both of you guys playing.
What a brilliant video! I’d love to see more of these!
Ooooohhhhh that slide solo on the intro was beautiful!
This has been an incredible and inspiring video! Love both you guys and I too remember that Clapton interview, I was 16 - 17 and it blew my mind, changed everything

Great explanations guys! Thank you so much.
Fantastic video! Even better lesson!
Very useful video. Cheers Ariel and Pete.
These two are the shizzle. Totally agree with less is more. Let it sing!
Omg I loved this! More!!!
Great vid! I would love more of the "nitty-gritty" stuff like in the beginning of the video. Helps open my understanding of theory and how to apply to chords. Thanks for this!
Ah this is amazing!
pure gold right there.
I'm feeling the Paradiso love already this morning.
To hard to be your self when all the good guitar players have all ready done those things
Thanks for turning me on to Jonathan Butler!
This was awesome thanks guys! It's almost too bad I'm at work and can't get to my guitar right now!
Great vid lads

Opening licks 😍
Please please please bring more of these advanced type lessons!!!!
That slide work tho, Wow!
I am so jealous of these guys... Being able to play almost whatever comes to your mind is like my dream super power.
very useful tips. thx
What a great video. I’m sure that this’ll do more to sell equipment and the Anderson’s brand than most of the others. Well done.
Sweet!
Ariel is my spirit animal teacher... seriously, every time I hear him talking about playing in terms of music theory I just get it with no "oh wait I need to think about it"... I'd get some lessons with him, but I'm just too shit to waste his time with that... need to practice 10 times what I practice now to be worthy
I have the reverse mind process: when I didn't know music theory I used to play singing the melody in my head, now my mind goes in a processing of notes and scales.... thank to those videos I'm getting less stuck
I didn’t know about substitutions, but I definitely thought the G13 was the minor 4 already. Great stuff.
I normally dislike 'lessons' per se. This was a different feel for the type of teaching I normally find on this channel. For me the real guitar lessons for non beginners are the talking. The internet exists with every single piece of technical information you could ever ask for. Inspiration and personal growth in music and an instrument, as well as just life, is from the teachings of experience. Not put your fingers here, or knead your dough this way. It's about the connection and learning how it applies to you.
Please a lesson on chords and rhythm! those chord changes are beautiful!
crescendo, crescendo, crescendo.
Anytime I see the Pete, I know there's about to be a musical treat! (& that Ariel chap's no slouch either!) p.s. I think you talked about important stuff here re. don't get bogged-down in modal theory etc, think of a vocal line (less really *can* be more if it's musical), take varied inspirations by listening to some material that pushes outside your normal playlist etc. Nicely done. :)
These two guys are awsome, especially when they played the 335's!
I've gotta admit- after a stag weekend I'm not feeling that sharp at work. Seeing you guys back on Andertons is easing the fog!
Whenever Ariel plays anything I have to go jam for 30 mins
Ariel, is so good. Unbelievable sometimes
Yessss make that guitar sing
That’s sweet bro..
Around the 20m mark, Pete playing those 4 notes makes shredding redundant! :-)
Great slide , reminds me of Derek trucks
Great lesson guys, chord tones is where the magic happens, can i suggest a fellow Canadian guitarist Keith Scott from Bryan Adams as a reference point for keeping it simple but so melodic.
I hear the melody line from "Octavarium" by Dream Theater, where the vocals go "As my conscience slips away" during that G13 chord. That's a cool progression.
