On a personal note, these lessons, all of them, are the most effective learning experience for a 44 year old player like me. This have been the best video lessons format I have always had. I REALLY APPRECIATE! Keep them coming!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think what Ariel often does so nicely is highlight the most prettiest note of the chord which is often the 6th, but most of the time the major 7th. They both play really nicely and fluidly though, I wish I could play like that one day

Ariel is my spirit animal teacher... seriously, every time I hear him talking about playing in terms of music theory I just get it with no "oh wait I need to think about it"... I'd get some lessons with him, but I'm just too shit to waste his time with that... need to practice 10 times what I practice now to be worthy

I normally dislike 'lessons' per se. This was a different feel for the type of teaching I normally find on this channel. For me the real guitar lessons for non beginners are the talking. The internet exists with every single piece of technical information you could ever ask for. Inspiration and personal growth in music and an instrument, as well as just life, is from the teachings of experience. Not put your fingers here, or knead your dough this way. It's about the connection and learning how it applies to you.

Anytime I see the Pete, I know there's about to be a musical treat! (& that Ariel chap's no slouch either!) p.s. I think you talked about important stuff here re. don't get bogged-down in modal theory etc, think of a vocal line (less really *can* be more if it's musical), take varied inspirations by listening to some material that pushes outside your normal playlist etc. Nicely done. :)
