Those DDT sells might be my favorite thing I’ve ever seen, the way his feet land on the mat before his back while his head is still planted there just makes them look as brutal as they were back when Jake Roberts invented them

You can see Pac and OC have respect for one another. All of their matches have been top notch and this match adds to that. Great Match and Main Event

PAC gains absolutely nothing from being beaten by a 3 year old stale joke gimmick for a title in fact he actually loses credibility and reputation points for getting beat by OC. OC doesn't elevate anyone that he has matches with whether he wins or loses. Because having a match with Orange Cassidy is not a notch on anyone's belt it's embarrassing especially if you lose to him. But if u do beat OC you also don't get any points because most wrestlers in aew are fully expected to beat him flat in 5 mins or less

I am so fortunate and happy that I was at this show tonight because it was popping from beginning to end and since it was the first show not only Toronto but all of Canada, I knew the crowd wasn’t gonna stop. When the show went off air, best friends, Danhausin and Kris Statlander all came to the ring to celebrate with Orange and Kris brought a backpack to put the title in because Orange said he “doesn’t like carrying things”. A big congrats to Orange on a well overdue but so well deserved title win.

You can tell PAC really enjoys his matches with OC, because he sells like a fiend. He's so underrated as a seller, but he made those swinging DDTs look absolutely fatal. That was a really good match, and often, when you see a really good match, it's what the other guy is doing that makes it so good.
This was one of my favorite matches of the year, they're just so good together and OC finally gets a belt. So good.

He was what got me interested in aew too, some of his hilarious slow motion matches are great fun to watch and just shows that you don't have to be a tough badass to get over in wrestling anymore - I think fans watch it more for the comedy these days.

@@joekurr6030 I wouldn’t say it’s a joke belt because the build up was great the fatal 4 way at forbidden door was perfect they’ve devalued the title in one night honestly if anyone should’ve beat pac for the title it should’ve been Malakai Black or Miro and Pac should’ve had 10-15 title defences before losing it to actually legitimise it

Pac sells moves so damn well. Those DDT's were great followed by that punch.
PAC and Orange Cassidy have always had such crazy good matches. I don't think I've ever been bored when these two duke it out. All the way back to the creation of AEW, they brought the fire and the flame, but the referee did a lot of oddly good storytelling in this match too!

The amount of matches Pac & OC have done together since AEWs inception must be alot. But it says just how amazing they are that every single time they do a match together its greatness.
PAC just doesn't have a bad match, nice to see AEW letting him have more TV time.
This felt like 2019 Dynamite in the best way possible. A much needed excellent episode of Dynamite after what seemed like a lull in terms of content and quality. Well done! Congrats, Orange Cassidy!

I’m sad Pac lost the championship because I really wanted him to win it in the first place but he couldn’t have lost it to a better competitor. The chemistry between OC and Pac was always great and they really gave it their all. Excited to see where this leads Orange now. En hora buena!

It's ironic how the most chill character has the best babyface fire comeback.
Cassidy is AEW’s best chance at a homegrown star becoming mainstream. Great character, unique in wrestling and as you can see, incredibly ’over’ with crowds. An actual baby face you want to cheer for. Long reign Orange.

OC came a long way. From tapping right away from the Brutalizer two years ago to fighting through to the ropes twice this match. Long term storytelling! OC deserves it.

FACTS and this match was a lot their match aew revolution 2020 but roles reversed where pac was acting more lazy like cassidy and cassidy was acting more serious like pac.

Honestly I thought early on OC wouldn't come out on top but he managed to prove me wrong. Also those back to back DDTs 😣. Congrats on your first belt champ! Hopefully he keeps it for a while, he certainly deserves it. Also, when Pac put his hands in the pockets and OC did what he did best was perfection.

Not a orange fan but the story they told in this match to get to the climax was very well done. When they can get the person who is a jaded Orange fan to be into his victory then they did a great job and I respect orange. And it was a great match. Credit when it’s due

Been hearing about AEW for years now. Was a huge wrestling fan decades ago. Attitude era. Also loved ECW. First match I have seen of AEW. Have to say im impressed. Excellent stuff from both guys.

Orange Cassidy and PAC story telling in the ring is so great. PAC is a generational talent.
When i saw Cassidy at AEW for the First time, i thought He will never win any Title with that Gimmick. But, slowly slowly i also started to love him & today he is a CHAMPION. Congratulations to Him.
