It is a great blessing to know who you are without considering what others think. So many women are confused about self-identity. Love every aspect of yourself-positive and negative. Give no one the power to define you. You are a unique individual created by God and all of his manifold worth. Don’t allow others’ negative perceptions paint a picture of who you are. You will become lost in the shadows of other people’s thoughts.

If you had someone like Tracy your whole life , you would be single and die alone like she is going to... Tracy's attitude is the attitude of a military commander who dictates what is going to happen.... Living with other people, especially living with a male partner / lover ,you need to cool it down.... Live Life, like you I live alone and have done for many years with no partner or children BUT I have an amazing family, great friends but I love my life and living on my own. I feel very strongly that we can be alone BUT not lonely. Last year here in the UK a complete ASSHOLE said on tv that gay men love celebrities like Diana Ross and Cher because for 2 hours at a concert, the glitz, glamour, sequins take them out of the dire, dreadful ,lonely lives!!!. The NEXT day the programme had to APOLOGISE to gay people for the guys comments saying that was HIS opinion and not theirs as there had been thousands of complaints to the station and rightly so!!!. It's very clear that Miss Diana Ross has done an AMAZING job with her children and every single one of them are a credit to her!!!.

I wish there would be some awareness of the role God plays in her life and in the success of her mom's life.....It's really sad that entertainers are so often not concerned about having a relationship with the Lord and acknowledging Him...because no matter who you are, you still need to believe and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior...that you will have a born again experience like the bible says in John 3:3. and John 3:16. Jesus says also that if we believe on Him with our hearts and confess with our mouths we will be saved. I realize that Oprah doesn't believe in Jesus Christ as the only way to be reconciled with God, our Creator. I really feel for people like that because, unless they repent, they will not inherit the kingdom of God.

This was the most cathartic conversation I have ever listened to. “May I” always keep Tracee Ellis Ross’s thoughts, words, profound beliefs in my own mind , at 72, to still become more❤️. Thank you, Tracee, for being so honest and loving. The craziest thing that you said was your middle name was “Joy”......that is what my Mom was going to name me, however, at the last minute (I think she must have been going through the alphabet) changed it to “Karen”....and lately this word has been popping up in my mind....so short story looooong...May I rediscover “JOY” in my golden years just as I’ve had my entire life and thank God for all the Blessings He has given to me.

@Maurice Harting im not interested in any of that new age stuff your talking about. Im not interested in what Oprah believes in as far as religion is concerned. Im only interested in the truth and to me thats Jesus Christ! I dont revere Oprah for her political or religious beliefs. I revere her because she a black woman in a racist society that has overcome everything meant to tear her down. And because shes a BILLIONAIRE!

  • @shinysworld08

@Maurice Harting Oprah being a billionaire impresses me because of everything you just mentioned. She perservered overcame to become the wealthiest African American woman in America. Thats what impresses me. With that being said she also perservered while living in an era of American society that was way more racist against African Americans than today era. Even though racism hasnt gone anywhere it just changed. I am a christian. I dont know what will happen to you if you walked into a ghetto with black people. But what will happen to me being an African American woman if i walked into a trailer park with poor white people?
