I sincerely liked Lisa Marie. I don’t think she had an easy life. I hope she’s at peace.

You can see from their body language that Lisa was uncomfortable a lot during the portion with her mom. In retrospect, you can sense why they weren't close for much of Lisa's life.

You are spot on! Beaulieu and Oprah, both nasty people, pulled this stunt on Lisa Marie, who was estranged from her abusive mother for many years before LM’s death.

She was so real and so personable. Still can't believe she's gone

In reality Lisa loved Michael all her life. She said in the 2010 interview with Oprah she always loved him and that they were together for years after they divorced. There is a picture of Lisa standing at Michael's coffin after most people left the funeral and a picture of the Sunflowers she left in a vase at his grave engraved with the message " I will always love you eternally. L." She also said that when she left Michael it was to try to get him to come with her and get rid of his advisors.

She was very intelligent, so funny, sweet n witty..not to mention a great mother, a wonderful person .. she also was a terrific singer songwriter.. she was so beautiful… I really liked her as a person… she didn’t have an easy life n of course loosing her son was her downfall… it breaks. My heart to think that that she was so broken after that… she never got over that n had she lived she would have suffered for the rest of her life..,how does any mother get over loosing a child.. it brings tears to my eyes just knowing how much she was hurting.. I’m certain everyday was a challenge just to get out of bed every morning… she only went on for her other children… she was one in a million… there will never be another one like her, as there will never be another man like her father.. goodbye princess… rip in the arms of your son n your daddy.. you are greatly missed.. You know to a certain extent you can think that Priscilla was jealous of her daughter's love relationship with Michael, this because of the age difference between Michael and Lisa of 10 years, equal to the one Priscilla had with Elvis. Obviously with Elvis it was psychological manipulation of her and he treated her like a child. Michael was Lisa's friend and always respected her, he treated her like her own, never indifferent to her age. Priscilla saw love and warmth in them when she didn't have it even in her adulthood with Elvis.
