Another great video! Thank you! I recently heard the Xiaomi 14 Photography Kit would be compatible with other phones too (including the Find X7 Ultra), so i was wondering if you could review it, and see which phones it actually works with, and how well?

@@lltechview That is true, though from the short test videos i saw, changing the settings was way more intuitive and snappy, especially for someone like me, who used to shoot DSLR exclusively. 😁 If it works fine with the Find X7 Ultra, i'll probably cave and get one myself.😅

The Oppo Find X7 Ultra has only been out for about a month. I am still optimistic that camera updates are on the way.

@@lltechview I have been using the Xiaomi 13 Ultra since last April. I knew the price of Oppo Find X7 Ultra will rise as soon as Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes out. So I ordered the unit right before Xiaomi 14 Ultra came out. The portrait shots of the Find X7 Ultra totally rocks. Lots more details than the ones taken by Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Vivo X100 Pro. Oppo will be hard at work improving their camera app since the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is now on the market.

Good overview. Two days ago we got an update. And here are some camera things: Improves the clarity and tone for telephoto camera photos, Optimizes clarity and skin tone of portraits (to look more natural), Improves the image stabilization of macro photography, Improves the image stabilization and zoom features for video recording... and important for this video there is now another button in Master Auto mode for specific exposure value. For button... it's definitely there.... for other things I will have to trust update text from Oppo. 😁

@@lltechview But you can use e.g. the fantastic Adobe Lightroom Denoise! It worked perfectly with old 12 mp cameras. Unfortunately it's hard to find new smartphones that can take real full resolution raw photos. They are usually preprocessed and even if they can be opened in Lightroom there is lots of noise and artefacts left after denoise. So I am excited to test raw images of the Oppo Find X7 Ultra! You can save the large raw files externally and only keep final compressed images on your phone.

Oppo find x7 ultra or Vivo x100 pro in terms of camera zoom and features? I need your personal opinion i've already saw your tests and score but i want you to recommend one for daily a driver phone

I decided to go with the oppo because it has Snapdragon chipset. In terms of camera I think they're equal.

It's frustrating how so inconsistent camera interfaces and are. A top phone like this don't have manual controls for video? No mettering options?

If Oppo FInd X7 Ultra would have had the camera features of Vivo X100 Pro and the lens coating done by Zeiss, it would have destroyed all other cameraphones of 2024 and probably of 2025 too.

@@marctabberner7257 How do you like the 2.5 by 180 megapixel tele zoom? Is there an advantage? I thought it would have good quality. Tell me briefly.

The movie mode is ridiculous, no resolution, aspect ratio or bitrate options, they also removed log recording from find X6 pro to x7u, and from find x5 pro they removed HDR (probably DOL-HDR) so no HDR and no log now, with log on it outputs 10 bit video btw, it is on a wrong rec709 container though but it is true 10 bit video. Exposure compensation is also broken, if you lower the slider recording a video on a dark place and go to a bright place it will not compensate exposure even though you did not lock exposure, just compensate it, that's on all video on all cameras.

Ohh you again, the obsessed Oppo hater😂😂😂😂😂 I have the Find X7 Ultra had the video is very good. Probably you had an X6 Pro faulty unit or you have some mental issues and feel the need to write BS about Oppo everywhere. I can agree that in terms of camera features and versatility, Oppo is still limited in comparison with Vivo, but it's pictures and videos are still very very good.

​@@dannyg8032btw you don't have an find x7 ultra, Oppo has it, they own it and decide what app you can use your camera with one line of code, it is not yours to use how you want.

Hi thanks fo the deatailed review but I have two Questions. It is possible to shoot hi res photos in 16:9 aspect ratio on all lenses and is in the photo mode an option to turn on something like a Spirit level so that the photos can be taken straigth and don't turn out crooked?Another interesting point to know would be if there ist a possibility to connect an external microphone for video recording? You have the possibility to shoot 16:9 photos on all lenses. However onky get 8 MP shots out of it. A horizontal leveler is also available.

Log does not exist in 7 ultra 😮 (i have it in find x5 and exists in find x6 )
