Ophir & Black Bear Pass - Utah to Colorado Adventure

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

In this video we leave Moab, UT and head to the beautiful mountain of Colorado to explore the Ophir Pass trail and tackle the famous Black Bear Pass. Ophir Pass is a short, easy and very scenic trail that you an run in just under 2 hours. Black Bear Pass is a longer and much more challenging trail with a steep hill decent, tight switchbacks and some very narrow sections of trail with sheer cliff to one side. Your technical driving skills will need to be at their best for this trail. #blackbearpass #ophirpass #jeepwrangler

I've been working two jobs for a month now in order to save up for a new Jeep. It's gonna be my first Jeep; and hopefully the first of many. It's not easy as I'm not used to working 16-18 hours a day, but I'm hanging in there. Your videos have been one of the main reasons I haven't given up. I can't help but dream about all the things I'll be doing once I've accomplished owning one; not that I've been having any dreams lately lol. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for your videos

txlbmx JHope I would, but the Rubicon is one of my dream cars. I would much rather just work my butt off right now while I've got my heart set on it; than to just get a placeholder car and put it off for some more time. I don't think I'd forgive myself if I put myself through this only to come up short. Plus, I'm not just saving up for the car itself, but also the mods and just rainy days in general.

When I was 12, my dad drove our loaded down old Willys Jeep over that trail in 1970 with Mom and my bro. Sandwiches, dog, guns, whiskey, no flats, maps or walkie-talkies, no drama, nothing but net. We thought nothing of it, went searching for tougher terrain. He even let my 14 year-old brother drive Black Bear for a spell.

The nice thing about trail etiquette is helping others in need no matter the rig or situation. My comment was not of jealousy but of the memory. My son has since passed but I doubt many children with muscular dystrophy have experienced the places first hand that he did.

Most of what is done to these rigs is out of a love for modifying and upgrading. Competent driving skills go a long way. A stock 4X4 will go everywhere a heavily modified rig will go with the exception of the toughest trails. Sure maybe not as easy but it can be done. For what these guys like to do there is no such thing as "over" prepared. Just in case...
