Enjoyed the video...I must have been hunting the state of Indiana about the same time as you...it was hot the week I was there! Saw a lot of bucks, a few decent ones and one stud, but sadly no shots. I couldn't agree with you more though, coming from a hard hunted state like PA, I much prefer October to November. In fact, I like the first week the best...the deer are the least pressured then. As always, liked the video, thanks for sharing!

Ventured to Indy public from PA from Oct 31st until Nov 7th with 2 buddies. I expected higher deer numbers like you, wrong. What I did get though was some tough terrain in the hill country that was way worse then the PA mountains, but it had a ton of feed for deer. Ended up seeing some serious quality bucks and went 2/3 out there. My buddy shot a really big 9 somewhere between 140 and 150 and I rattled in a mainframe 10pt with a droptine who might go 120 and shot him on the 6th. Saw a few other big boys but what made me the happiest was not dealing with the pressure like I have back home. Thanks for the Beast tactics Dan and good luck the rest of the year wherever you end up. Stay beasty

Get back to Michigan Dan. Tired of hunting all by myself in Eberhart's backyard even though he prefers the south. This was my first time hunting central michigan as I just bought my place here a few years ago(unhuntable inside a recreation association). I have thrown everything I learned from you in the last couple years at them. Have not put one on the ground yet but hunted 4 different counties here and seeing good bucks in all of them. Not something I'm used to even seeing. I've still had a blast and consider this season a bigger success than I could have hoped for. Thank you for everything you do. Can't wait to connect with one to share the story

This is great man. I watched it last night. Occasionally doing longer videos like is a good move. I watch another channel (JoeandZachSurvival) and he does one or two long ones a year. I just think too many youtubers are into keeping them under 20 minutes. I sure don't mind getting deeper into a hunt and just being able to sit down an grab the whole thing over a long video. I hope you do start doing this a few times a year. Love your stuff man been watching for a few years. Oh and I love the idea of you doing these travel videos as well. Though I do love the ones where you get hip deep in the swamp as you go after those big ones. Oh and I hope youtube is paying you. I watched most of the commercials, but man I think I watched 6 of them. The one that was 5 minutes long I just could not do it lol

Being from PA and hunting all over Ohio this year, I think I’ve realized that it really matters where you’re at in the state. Where I hunt at in southwest PA, deer populations are awesome, and the typical places people talked about hunting in Ohio seem to be really struggling, on public anyways. I guess what I’m saying is, just because you hunt one area of a state and don’t see anything, doesn’t mean there aren’t other areas in the same state that are doing really well, you just have to find them.

Up north here in Kittson county about like 1-2 miles south of the Canadian border, we have giant bull elk, big black bear, turkey, and monster 200” whitetail and the best part is that there is over 40,000 acers of state land, no hills no mountains, just some hardcore THICK Hardwoods and nasty swamps that no one goes back into and it would be amazing to meet u and possibly learn a lot being a young hunter and not having anyone else to help me

I grew up in NW Indiana next door to a dairy farm and we killed massive deer in open fields with tree and ditchlines. Those ditchlines and creek lines are corridors and they use those without being seen all day long. There was a big tree pile (like a brush pile but big trees rather than brush piled in one spot by the farmer with a backhoe). We'd sit up in that jumble of trees and watch the ditchlines right by it. Every year a deer that was at least 140 came out of there, some years bigger than that. They'd just sit in there gorging themselves on corn and soybeans! I've killed a number of good bucks with buckshot sitting in the corn and watching the tractor paths that go through the corn.

Just got back from hunting Illinois not far from Pyramid. Saw some really nice bucks. Wound up shooting a nice tenpoint and my buddy killed a monster 8 point. Illinois is my favorite for deer hunting. I live in Louisiana and its a totally different world here
