I would like to Continue Using this Browser, however, there's one feature that's causing me not to use it unfortunately and that is the RGX Feature on KZread in the Top section whenever you are watching vids on YT, now for someone like myself who watches YT videos quite often, it's pretty distracting when I have that symbol on top and I can't do anything nothing about it, and I never get that with other Browsers (like Chrome or Firefox)... So is there anyway to Disable it so it pop up annoyingly like that?

When I go to Gx control it shows the tabs I have open that im not using still take like 40-50 ram a piece, is there a way to basically turn them off without closing the tabs? I think this is the reason why opera on task manager shows (20). Probably a combo of open tabs, my extensions and the rest of operas processes. I dont wanna close the tabs tho. and I dont really know how limiting my ram would help with either of these things

I was worried I had to go through a long process of taking all my bookmarks and transfer them over to Opera GX, but it does that for you automatically. Saved me a good hour

I instaled Opera GX yesterday, but I will have to drop it because Opera GX disable my mouse shortcuts. I have Logic G502 Hero, and made a shortcuts (macro) in Logitech mouse program. On side buttons of the mouse (button 1 - copy, button 2 paste) I use it allot in design. The problem is, while Opera GX is on (lunched), shortcuts on my mouse doesn't work.

Make sure you check all the settings in Opera GX - it is possible it has integration with your mouse - because Opera does that

@@marjanmare Try go in to opera gx settings,search shortcuts and disable "Enable mouse gestures" "Enable rocker gestures" "Enable advanced keyboard shortcuts" For me I use steelseries engine to configure profiles for specific apps and games, having these enabled seemed to interfere with it, you can even configure the shortcuts then use those keybinds to program into the mouse

go settings and make sure the gx setting is on display on startup or whatever its called and not the option ‘on sidebar’ its complicated but i hope u get it

no I did too. I actually got so many ads and was impressed so I decided to look up how to use it on KZread and this is the first video that I clicked on.🤣

gx corner is like a place you got free games or cheap games (games free for sometime)

This looks amazing however, My main concern is that it's owned by the chinese consortium based in beijing, and seeing all the shennanagins with tiktok and the CCP has me a bit on the fence.

How come everyone promotes Opera GX as being more efficient for your PC yet when I tried to install and use it is the only time a web browser actually made my computer noticeably slower? Even when I closed it out and was just using Chrome things were hiccupping until I uninstalled Opera GX.

To disable game trailers in Opera GX, you might need to disable the GX Corner feature. Here are the steps to do it: Go to the "Easy Setup" option on the right side of the browser (close to the adblock icon). Scroll down to "Features" and turn on "Gaming Corner in Sidebar". Do a right click in the sidebar (where the Twitch addon is located) and uncheck Gaming Corner​1.

these guys are in 3055, compared to other browsers, just changed it from fucking chrome RAM eater, and it's a huge difference.

i installed it today again after suspicions made me remove it , i have seen any reports myself and decided to give another try, it does not seem to put as much drag on machine, nor run any hidden miners but it did change my default browser without asking..twice.
