I like how Eric didn't take the Queen at 40:41 since he saw the thread of a stalemate (Kd3 h8->Q). But resigned instead because he probably was afraid that Nemo premoved her Pawn and would draw this game after she played that insanely good against him. Really cool of him :)

Nemo's last push was not a premove, so she probably wouldn't have fallen for it. Probably. But yeah, even in chess dudes can't seem to repress "chivalrous" instincts against ladies, completely missing the point of the game. It's even disrespectful when you think about it; it's treating them like you would treat a kid, letting them win.

There is a similar tactical idea to the one that was played in the Ponziani at 41:12, although more straightforward, in the English Opening. It occurs after the moves 1.c4 e5 2.Nc3 Nf6 3.Nf3 Nc6 4.e3 Bb4 5.Qc2 d6 6.Nd5, where if play continues 6...Nxd5 7. cxd5, then the Knight on c6 has to move, and White wins the Bishop with Qa4+. The "trap" has claimed 172+ players on Lichess.

Eric I have learned so much from you & Gothm & I really thank y'all..But I'm disappointed in GMs & IMs lately for kissin up to feminist take over in chess..Far too many attractive females are out front in chess these days..Women are usin sex appeal to disarm & weaken men players..All women featured are facially attractive?? Why? Women show up to chess tournments in mini skirts, tight pants, lace tops, boobs out, redheads like Beth, all dolled up...So are all chess lovin women attractive?? Where are ugly, fat, skinny as hell, flawed ,stud lookin women?? Chess is bein high jaked by sexy disarmin women & men GMs & IMs don't see take over occurrin..Sponorships will go more to undeservin women players; corporate money will be given to women to train & feel safer in these so called male oreintated environments..& once GMs & IMs are trainin women as a norm then later sexual mistreatment allegations will follow; with lawsuits & embrassments & men's careers destroyed..It's comin guys; feminist minded women use media & laws to gain advantage.. Feminist agenda is workin its magic in chess...One attractive player has a video up talkin about how HOT she is?? For three minutes she talks about lookin better & being hot..pure unabashed out front selling sex to men chess players?? Another has a stripper's name..GoldDustTori? WTF?& she is facially attractive too... One attractive woman player offered a date & her phone number to GM if she beat him??Women sellin sex as currency & later it will be a weapon shot in GMs & IMs little & big heads..Example: at Tala Steel 2022 award ceremony.. host was wearin a sexy mini skirt with sexy long boots???On another Tv interview with Magnus on 2022 Tala Steela host was super sexy lookin.. very short skirt showin sexy thighs & legs...All attractive women??? Lookin & soundin soft & sexy?? Where are ugly women players???Guys don't you see it comin...Why are y'all openin door??Stop playin none required games with these females...GMs & IMs playin at odds of a queen or peice or several minutes to women & losin to them..inflatin their resume.. One woman has a 10 minute video up of her wins over GMs, IMs..you know she did not state that their where odds given to her???Women smilin & flirtin sellin sex to gain advantages..& you simps don't see feminist knifes in their hands??Feminists take over is here..usin sex appeal to disarm & later to shame & destroy men's position..

@@maxmeszaros9527 Excerpt from Wall Street Journal on Eric Rosen: "The chess masters who share expertise on KZread and Twitch can be entertaining and educational, and they have created a video subgenre analyzing matches played in “The Queen’s Gambit,” which are based on real ones. Antonio Radic, known online as agadmator, attracted 2.2 million views for his analysis of the final episode’s Beth Harmon-Vasily Borgov championship match, based on a 1993 one between Ukrainian Vassily Ivanchuk and American Patrick Wolff. Other video teachers worth checking out include soft-spoken International Master *Eric* Rosen, the trash-talking grandmasters at Chess Brah, and sisters Alexandra and Andrea Botez, who beat up on the boys as much as Beth Harmon does." www.wsj.com/articles/netflixs-queens-gambit-sparks-a-chess-boomheres-how-to-get-in-on-it-11606332062?mod=searchresults_pos1&page=1

I've watched the Ponziani trap at 42:05 and I'm struggling to see why she gave up? Could someone explain what happened in that instance as I've watched it several times. Black Knight moves because of the Pawn. When Queen moves to A4 what happens? The King can still move out of check.
