The winged dragon of ra a.k.a the ultra mega 🐔 is the coolest of the Egyptian gods due to the different forms, especially the immortal phoenix form 🐥.

Winged Dragon of Ra was always my favorite god card. Thought it was so cool when I was a kid, it’s so nostalgic now.

​@@therealm0nst3r0to be honest, it really is the weakest among them all. If it had the effects in reality that it has in the anime, it would be able to compete against the others. In the anime, Obelisk cannot be targeted nor affected by trap cards.

Obelisk the Tormentor!! Hands down has always been my fav, watching yugioh with my kids right now

Alongside the budget versions, I would love to see a full power version of both of those. But for a real challenge, make a Egyptian God deck.

Slifer is one of my faves. But Ra and all of its “hidden” effects is the coolest.

My favourite is Slifer. There's just something about a red dragon.

Slifer is my favorite god card. I saw what you did a while back with bringing Slifer the Sky Dragon out on the first turn, then left him there so he could nuke anything under 2000 attack, which is most of the meta deck's starting plays. Insane, also he looks cool :)

I've always liked Sliffer ever since the first time seeing it summoned against yugi. Then when yugi used it on the blimp and it circled around it several times. its size is just so insane it leaves a impact on you. That said, obolisk is probably the best one, but sliffer all the way.

not sure if obelisk is really batter this days, since slifer is at least a floodgate for spam decks with low attack monsters (a lot of meta decks), while obelisks protection does not really matter this days.

God cards for me will always be my style of dueling I loved the god cards to death as a kid always found them to be cool to many people duel to win I duel to have fun idc about winning if I do I do I miss the 2nd generation of dueling simple fun and filled with classic cards Todays dueling is kinda too chaotic for me can't get into it

@@slutwagon4270 There is a really cool dark magician god deck that runs The True Name to get out your gods. It makes the gods very playable, maybe not meta, but rogue for sure.

Divine Evolution is a card that Yugi used in the Yu-Gi-Oh! R Manga. He used it to turn Obelisk the Tormentor into Obelisk the Progenitor.

Legit wanna see a “GOD” tier 3x structure of both these decks

Slifer is my favorite god card for sure, always loved its look ever since seeing it in the anime back in the day. So hype for these structure decks. Great vid!

For me it definitely is Slifer. I love the design with the two mouths and Atem summoning Slifer for the first time in the duel against Bakura will forever be one of my favorite anime moments of all time.

My favorite god card has to be slifer, because I always thought the effect of having more cards for more attack was really cool. Keep up the good work!

Don't get me wrong, they're not great sets. But I don't like the way the OCG product was designed either...

The legendary exodia!!! I remember watching the first episode and just thinking how much power exodia had . He has a just such an iconic set of cards and is definitely my favorite

Great video, Sam! My fav god card is Obelisk because it is the most badass of all three. I'll never forget that episode during which Kaiba sacrifices it to summon Blue-eyes and basically choose his own destiny.

Imagine TeamSamurai fighting Team APS with The Egyptian gods while Team APS has the sacred beasts, would be the best duel ever in my eyes 🤩

My favorite god card has to be Slifer because basically he’s a giant red dragon not to mention he absolutely annihilates the field every time a new monster is summoned with his ability take away 2000 atk points from the monster just summoned and if that monster has 2000 atk points or less when this ability is activated it will destroy the monster and sent him to the card graveyard and the cherry on top is that he gains 1000 atk/def for every card in your hand.

Yes, and his new “Thunder-force attack” spell support card clears the field of opponent’s monster and you draw monsters equal to how many were destroyed. Ridiculous way to boost his strength.

My favorite of the three Egyptian Gods is Slifer, because who doesn’t love a good dragon. Overall, I really like the Sacred Beast Hamon, mainly for the artwork, but I also enjoy playing the card when I can.

I don't know why they keep releasing partial god card sets... Makes god card collections look weird. They also forgot Ra in Collector Tin 13. But at least we recently got a legit ghost rare god card print for Ra.

Ra is my favorite cuz Phoenix mode always looked so cool and Marik had a combo to revive him every turn

Divine evolution was from a side story manga where the evil god cards where first revealed. Divine Evolution was used by Yugi using Obelisk to force his opponent to destroy their Wicked Avatar. The series was only 5 volumes long, but was a nice story overall.

The tormentor is my favorite god card. His design and strength always made me feel excited. Definitely a god of Kaibas!

I absolutely love obelisk!Great effect, great art and I get so excited when he is summoned!I have the "illegal" version of both slifer and obelisk(the one that has the "can't be used in a duel") wich is pretty sad :( !But i gotta say that slifer is also good since i always been a yugi fan!The art looks stunning and the god itself has an enormous size!I prefer obelisk but slifer is good too!

So are these cards like able to be put into a deck for tournaments or to use in general

Witchcrafter madam verre is my favourite card, I love the art and the style as well as its effects.

Has to be Obelisk, because of the time when he summoned Obelisk against Esper and Umbra in like one turn and ended their careers, before the rematch of course.

Ra got a bunch of support in a Duelist Pack. I don’t think Ra will get a structure deck. I think they release these to balance out the support

Ra doesn't really need his own structure deck given the amount of support cards that have come out for him over the past several years. If anything, he has all he needs to make a successful deck. Maybe perhaps take a few cards out of these decks such as Soul Crossing for example and give them to Ra. Other than that, he is good to go as of right now.

The prismatic slifer you show that sick case, where is that case protector from? Looks like just a sick display piece

Honestly I have to agree, Obelisk is my favorite God Card. His original art and the shonen jump reprint were beautiful.

I would’ve liked to see more divine-beast support or more of a slifer/obelisk archetype besides just a few cards but there are lots of great techs for new players and they will be great to play casually. I wish the god cards would’ve been ulti rare or something special, too.

Exodia looks so beautiful to hold all of the colorful pieces in your hand. It's so cool it is a meme in games like Uno and Poker, no other monsters have this kind of notoriety, plus it's even rarer appearances than the Egyptian Gods make it even more special. It has a win condition just by being summoned. Strangely, it still has not graced the TCG despite coming out nearly 10 years ago in 2011 in the OCG. In the Anime, Obelisk seemed to have a win condition, if it battles successfully after tributing 2 monsters, it unleashed infinite damage to the opponent, sadly this effect was lost going into the OCG and TCG, but what wasn't was Exodia's. Yes, Exodia was originally stated to rival the Gods, but it seems like it actually rivals their combined form, making Exodia truly the most powerful of all Yu-Gi-Oh Gods, despite Ishizu trying to promote the others.
