Why I’m feeling so relaxed while watching this video and imagining that you all are living your life away from other world which i dream.. Love u all the inhabitants of pitcairn island .. seriously the other part of the world is so fu..ked up’’ btw I’m from Pakistan and it’s very very hard to survive here, inflation is on the peak.. you guys are very lucky to born there and living your best life close to nature Happy for you ❤

You must be some kind of pedo sympathizer. A large portion of the grown men there have been accused or convicted of child sex crimes. The fucking mayor was downloading CP in 2016!!

Is it possible for me to migrate to Pitcairn Island to work and live there?

I'm very poor, but I Soo wish to go, and live there! Problem is, I'm poor, and that means, know one would want me there. I'm just dreaming again! What a perfect place ❤️

By setting foot on this island you’re guaranteed to meet child rapists

The universe is indifferent to our existance, It cares less how or if we are here. think about this, the ocean was 400 feet lower just 12,000 years ago... 400 feet less ocean. can you imagine the beach this island had back then? I live in the states, and we have landmark here called plymouth ROCK , it was the place the first people stepped on when they arrived in the states in the early 1600's the rock was marked and paintings were made of the original landing back in those days... guess what ... the rock is exactly in the same water level as it was in the 1600's .. never has it changed.. this is just so... We should take care of our stewardship and make things better for future if we can.. yet many people will profit from fear tactics about climate changing.. and that works out for those in that game,, so get the cash and enjoy...

Have you seen the nautical charts around Pitcairn Island. Volcanic islands typically have steep drop offs. Ex: 1/4 mile off St Croix USVI the depth is ten thousand feet.

It’s called natural erosion not climate change

I'm very happy to see a marine science base here. However, there is no truth to this global warming myth. The ocean's levels have not risen in our lifetimes, in our grandparents lifetimes or in their grandparents. If pollution is such a threat, then how are the Pitcairn Islands pristine?

It's sad when this progressive stance of science has reached one of the most beautiful, remote islands in the world. The political reference to climate change shouldn't be associated with normal concerns of the matter. I hope to visit pitcairn one day as well.

The Pitcairn islands are nothing CLOSE to pristine. Despite being hundreds of miles from anywhere, they're absolutely bombarded with plastic. Henderson, an uninhabited island in the Pitcairn chain, has one of the most plastic polluted beaches in the world.

@@morganlinden6580 Your comment is ridiculous and false to the point of being childish. Video of the beaches shows very little trash at all. Even Henderson has less trash than you would typically see on a resort beach after a storm or even high tide. The main reason there are a few bits of rope and fishing floats on a single beach is because NOBODY LIVES THERE TO CLEAN IT UP! The floats and rope pose no danger to wildlife and at worst are unsightly. And, to put things in further perspective, it's only one beach on Henderson. Go to Google Earth and walk the Henderson beaches. Almost nothing there. I stand by the statement of PRISTINE beaches.

@@bruce966 Henderson is officially the most plastic polluted island *on the whole planet*. Do even some tiny amount of research before running your mouth, perhaps? Put "henderson island plastic pollution" into google and read any of the dozens of well sourced scientific articles on the subject.

When I see video of the beaches they mostly look completely clean. If you go to Google Earth and walk the beach there's not much trash there. So much for your fake well-researched science.
