Actually the reason the Amiibos cards are so useful is that on the 3rd day, you don't need to have an empty plot. You can have that villager replace any one of your 10 current villagers. Also, this is different from when you get a random campsite visitor who will ask to replace one of your villagers. When you use the amiibo you get to select which of your 10 villagers they replace.

Love these videos! Working on catching up on a lot of videos right now, had to take a break to watch this one!

Btw, you do not have to get a villager to leave. On the third visit to the campsite and after you have made the third item, you can simply replace one of your current villagers. The villager at the campsite will say they are going to talk to residential services, and then report back there are no openings, but maybe they can ask someone to leave at which point you are shown all your villager pictures and you choose who to replace. Also, if you are looking for specific villagers you can also order Ambiio cards on Etsy. I paid 25.00 for 5 cards and was able to choose who I wanted. There has to be a current Ambiio card for the Etsy store to make you a card though. For example, you could not order Audie or any of the current villagers who do not yet have an Ambiio card.

I passed up Lucky on my hunt for Erik. Will try and get him again when I have another villager leave x

When using Amiibo cards you do not need to wait until someone wants to move out. You do it whenever and choose who you want to move out.

No, you don’t have to wait for someone to want to move out. Once you get through the third time, you can choose who you want to move out. It’s a great way to get unwanted villagers out and your dreamies all moved in.

If you use an Amiibo card villager, you don't have to wait for a villager to want to leave. On your third day of having them in your campsite, if you ask them to move in, you get to pick who they'll swap with!

oh my god watching this made me so glad I collected the amiibo cards when they were still coming out. with help from reddit’s amiiboswap and ebay I managed to collect a complete set and I’m so proud of it. trading the cards was honestly really fun the community was so nice and would often send little goodies like stickers or extra cards. (I always decorated my outgoing trade envelopes with fun washi tape and stickers!) I bought some welcome amiibo cards on ebay and the seller included a fidget spinner and one of the japanese exclusive promo cards included some additional japanese special character cards and some cute little drink coasters!? I really hope Nintendo rereleases them at some point and makes a new series with the new horizons and pocket camp characters who don’t have cards and also they add the Sanrio villagers and other game amiibo villagers from welcome amiibo to new horizons.

My experience with Amiibo cards if I don’t, or didn’t have a villager ready to leave. I would scan the card. It did take three invites. After the third invite and talking to Amiibo camper after asking them to move to my island. They’d say, something like sorry residential services sys island is full, I could talk to someone who might be thinking of leaving, and pull up my list of villagers. I could then choose, whom I wanted OUT. Then, they’d say villager was getting ready to move on and in a couple of days I’d get new villager.

I don’t know who’s cuter Merry or Rosie ( I have them both on my island using an amiibo card) I love them. I was all set to bring Mitzi to my island when Jitters asked to leave but in my excitement I told him to stay...now I have to wait lol I have Sherb on my island now and I don’t want him to leave..I was wondering if he has an official card. I bought some customs ones (which worked well..bought Marshal and Ankha ) but was just curious. I wish I could get those amiibo packs now.

series 1 is better I bought 2 packs and did decent but im getting 1 of each pack coming soon hopefully I get some good ones

You don’t have to wait for a villager to move out to scan an amibo because you can pick any villager you want to replace

You don't have to invite them 3 days in a row, just 3 days in general. So you can invite a villager twice and then when you're ready to move them in, invite them a third time. I did this to move in Stitches and move out Julian for my boyfriend c:

Price is down to a little over $40. It also looks like GameStop has them again

My Flora was 50 bucks. Still worth it though.
