OpenAI has launched a new AI model, GPT-4o, which the company says is able to perceive emotions.
It also said that the new model is faster, has improved capabilities in text, video and audio, and is able to function as a translator.
Fred Havemeyer, an analyst at Macquarie, said that GPT-4o has crossed close to a new chasm in emotional intelligence, and is more humanlike compared to other AI assistants.
