Did you teach them how to blow bubbles? Lol! Good job, Nick. You are very knowledgeable and more than a capable instructor. You taught those two how to dive safely and gave them the know-how to save their own life as well as others. Very good, Nick.

What a great instructor and wonderful students with Carson and Josh. It makes a world of difference when you trust your instructor. So very clear to follow, but I'm glad you put the disclaimer across the screen...too many DIY videos. The 4 of you are doing fantastic and the acknowledgement after each task builds trust in instruction and confidence in the student. ❤️😃
This video was very interesting to watch. Nick you did a fantastic job as an instructor! Congrats guys job well done. So happy for you💕
Wow, that was a great educational video. Enjoyed watching Carson and Josh learn diving techniques. I’m so happy to be able to watch you guys again. Wishing big, wonderful, joyous things for all of you!

Nick, I can honestly say that by you showing how to clear a partially flooded mask makes me so much more comfortable and more likely to be able to do it! This was the part that I always dreaded. I've honestly never seen it be done so smoothly, and for it to be done in a way for it to be NOT so terrifying...so tysvm for this! At least now I won't be so terrified if it were to happen. Honestly can't thank you enough Nick!! And ty for teaching the guys to be underwater scuba certified!!❤️💕🔥 Take care and be safe always!!!🙏🥰🤞💗😉👍 #NickKnowsBest! 😀

Thank you for the video. I dont dive but love instruction videos and learning about it. I ❤❤🥰🥰
I LOVE your description of the breathing. I wish you had taught my mom. She was 70 when she got her open water and it took 3 months of practicing before she got the breathing and mask clearing down. She couldn’t figure out how to lift her soft palate to block off her nose. She did eventually get it, and was able to do a night manta ray dive in Hawaii, which she absolutely loved!

It is great to see how scuba training is taught! You are such a wonderful teacher in using analogies to describe the procedures! It makes it easy to learn! Recently, I learned that 2 of my sisters took the scuba training course when they were younger, of course not at the same time. They were curious, but after the training, they decided it was too expensive to pursue. Both of them ended up in the medical field as RN's. I often wonder if having the courage to try scuba diving played a role in their next career venture. Thanks for the video!!!
I could watch these all day long, I was just wondering if we could all pitch in and pay you Nick for your time and generosity? It's awesome how much you guys do for each other ☺️❤️

You should move the warning about the video not being a certification course to the beginning of the video because it's likely that people will skip the end of it! Nick is there any way you could to a video on basic swim safety and water basic safety? So many young people have not be exposed to basic skills when it comes to water.
once Josh & Carson are trained certified divers you 3 can start another recover team?

They are likely still bound by the Non-Compete agreement they'd signed with AWP for at least a year.
Thanks again for yet a very interesting video. What does the tapping on the top of the head I see divers do when they surface after a dive? I have been guessing it simply means the diver is ok. Is that a good guess? ❤️🇧🇻

As an instructor you have to make sure a student can swim a minimum distance, this is to prove that in an extreme scenario if you had to ditch your gear, you could at least swim to shore or the boat.
Divers should learn some asl American sign language, for dual purpose. 🤟
Awesome! Nick, I don't know if you will answer this or not. How do you Snorkel? For instance, your face is underwater, but you have that little pole, hopefully, above water. And how deep can you go underwater like that? This comes from a non-swimmer so please help me out. 🤿
@rattlesnakerinn
Жыл бұрын
You just breath in and out like normal. You can’t go underwater unless you hold your breath. Snorkel is for surface swimming.

@@rattlesnakerinn Yes I would be a much better swimmer on the surface or even better yet dry land. 😂 I almost drowned once as a child. I remember being underwater feeling so peaceful and looking at the beautiful rocks on the bottom. That peaceful feeling was awesome. Then my cousin yanked me up and took me to my parents. I honestly think if everyone wouldn't have freaked out, I would have turned into a fish instead of being terrified of the water. That peace, I long for that. Is that what it's like when you are diving?
