One of the great footy minds. As coach had the Dees playing possession footy 10 years before anyone else, and look at Collingwwod, Geelong and now Richmond when he's been behind the scenes

Baron Eagle that was afl then, the so called tough guys were really just a bunch of snipers , not that brave at all hitting blokes when they arent looking , at least your rugby league tough guys sorted out their differences going toe to toe .

Survived and thrived in an tough era of VFL football and had success, premierships with Richmond.

@Baron Eagle with your logic half of the afl back in the 70's and 80's would be farked. Leigh mathews, Brian Taylor, Dermie, Alaistair Clarkson.. those 4 alone were a lot worse than Blamey.

He was one of graham richmonds enforcers abd vg at that and great administrater
