Great interview with a Great coach.
I’ve always loved his honesty.
Now a group one winning trainer
Take responsibility for your actions. Perfect life lesson and be smart enough to recognise when you need to.
'Life wasn't meant to be perfect' he's got that right. Good man Dennis.
Legendary Coach
Thanks of the upload , really happy to see this interview again
Both coach and real estate agent roles need to be great communicator, Denis is one of the few.
Loved it, thanks

Not at all. Pagan coached North Melbourne the most celebrated loved and successful team in AFL history and also coached Wayne Carey who is without the doubt the greatest AFL player ever!

Thank you so much for this. Would you happen to have access to the Justin Koschitzke one as well? Really wanted to see that interview for a while.
I don't mind the angry ewok Pagan.
Wayne loves nose beers too
The mighty blues treated denis like crap, signed him good good draft picks and other players and he didn't get any. How he put up with the years he coached there it would have driven him mad like it did me after what happened to the blues
Could not take them the trough as the VFL wanted a draft .
And for all that, he ended up as a real estate agent. Tragic life.

How is it tragic? Hes rich, and wanted to keep working like a lot of AFL players do when they are retire. What a bizzare comment. You must be brain dead
Staggers me how boards want to move on coaches who have basically coached a Dynasty. They think they’re rejuvenating the club for a new tilt of more of the same but are then rubbish for the following decades. Think Chicago Bulls getting rid of Phil Jackson & Jordan, North getting rid of Pagan. Both clubs garbage since. It’s often the ego of those in charge that’s responsible for the change and the need to exert authority and influence over what is a dominant figure of the club.

It should be up to the players who they want as coach and not up to presidents
Scraping the bottom of the barrel. Met him down in Hobart in 2015 at the Salamanca markets at a local cafe. Tried to cut the line in front of me. Total flog.
