I love this, pure sounds and no annoying background music

I used to own a ‘99 Astra 3-door in that same color with a 1.8l engine, and out of all the cars I’ve ever driven nothing compared to how sturdy, small, and PERFECT my Astra felt driving. I just wish I could figure out how to bring one similar to mine back to America with me. I loved that car. So glad this video was recommended to me.

Fun little cars. The gearbox went in mine unfortunately so now it's just sitting in the garage doin' nothin' lol But yeah, apart from that, these do feel somewhat robust in the way they drive.

The 1.8L enigne is the beste...I had it in my Astra Coupe and tuned it with some dbilas parts...i loved that car and miss it 10 years later

Minimum age of an imported vehicle has to at least 25 years. Then other taxes and fees to make it "safe" for American roads. Not telling you something you might not already know. I remember pining over JDM vehicles and found this out years ago.

Ich LIEBE Videos, in denen Autos aufbereitet werden. Für mich sind das "Wellness-Videos". Und dieses Video finde ich ganz besonders schön, weil ich genau so ein Auto vor der Tür stehen habe. Vor allem: keine nervige Musik, kein überflüssiges Gequassel. Was mir noch fehlt ist zum Schluß ein bißchen Kunststoff-Aufbereitung und evtl. noch der Innenraum. Matt schimmernde Armaturentafeln und saubere Teppiche machen sich doch immer gut in so einem Video.

I have the same car (with a 1.7 DTI engine), and I'm glad to see this one brought back to it's former glory. Here in Hungary it's a super popular make and model, as we had a factory assembling these cars, and now we have bunch of Opel groups and fan clubs (also a member of one). Althought mine would be a bit more of a challenge, as it just turned to have 620k kms on the clock, but after all these years and kms still a reliable, economic and fun car to drive

Nice work, well done. Its good that some one puts that much detail in to a 20 year old car, my dad had an Astra like this one but a 5 door model same colour,it looks so familiar but so different not seeing the chrome V grill and the steering wheel on the left, and not badge Vauxhall.

@@aps-detailing das glaube ich direkt , ist auch ein sehr gutes auto , war damals mein erstes auto , und danach hab ich mir direkt wieder das selbe auto gekauft :-) jetzt fahre ich einen corsa auch schon knappe 7 jahre , wahnsinn wie die zeit vergeht

So ein schönes Auto. Astra G mit 1.6l Motor, praktisch unverwüstlich. Tolle Arbeit!

I bought a -99 1.6 16 valve engine with 101 hp for 200$ a year ago with 190.000 km/s on it, spent about 500$ in repairs, a very fun car to drive and it feels almost like new with a bullit proof engine despite that i give it a hard time every day

Geiler Shit, gerne mehr davon 🤩 Wäre auch nice wenn du die benutzten Produkte kurz ins Bild halten würdest, sofern das möglich wäre (Werbung etc…) ansonsten Mega Arbeit und klasse Video, feiere gepflegte Young und Oldtimer. Eine Frage hätte ich, hast du am Ende ein Wachs aufgetragen und anschließend eine Keramikversiegelung? Evtl noch ergänzend Reifenpflege und ein zwei Szenen wo man das ganze Auto sieht.

4:32 das ist übrigens ein Werkzeug zum Abdrehen der Ventilkäppchen an den Reifen ... in zwischen sehr selten.

Moin Felix, verliert man bei Uni-Lacken eigentlich mehr Lackschichtdicke nach dem Polieren, als bei Lacken mit Klarlack oben drauf? (Bei selber Politur-Pad-Kombination) Ich frage mich es deshalb, weil die Pads und Tücher bei Uni-Lacken so viel Farbe aufnehmen und sich so extrem verfärben. LG Jeff PS: das wäre ansonsten ja mal ein Test wert, oder ;-))

Ich hatte den 5 Türen in der Farbe und immer top gepflegt. Wie oft wurde ich auf Parkplätzen auf den guten Zustand angesprochen 😅

Das ist ein kleiner, aufsteckbarer Adapter um die Staubschutzkappen der Reifenventile leichter aufzudrehen, wenn bspw. mit Radkappen gefahren wird und die Ventile evtl. nicht so leicht zugänglich sind

hmm,ohne deine kommentare echt ungewohnt 🤔.ist nen video das mich irgendwie überrascht,den radkästen schenkst du wohl keinerlei beachtung,der tankstutzen 5:13 ist meiner meinung nach nicht richtig sauber 😟 das 50mm vertex compounding pad fährst du auf nem 30stützteller auf stufe1 🤔 mach ich denn wohl irgendwie alles falsch? 🤔😢

Hi Michael, es fehlen einige Szenen, war gar nicht geplant so ein langes Video. Tankstutzen war die Enttäuschung des Tages, das schwarze sind durchpolierte Stellen, wollte extra ein Video dazu machen, sah aber alles nicht gut aus, als ob es nicht richtig sauber ist. Es gibt einige durchpolierte Stellen am Auto, hinten Kofferaum usw, schade. ist ein 40mm pad auf nem 30er, dann muss ich nicht doppelt fahren wegen 10mm, Stufe eins ist nur wegen Kamera :)

am I the only one who feels that that soft bristle brush don't really do much on the exterior? Dude brushing the front grill so gently that the 23 years of grimme is probably launghing at his face. Other than that, amazing work tho. Car looks beautiful
