This song came at a time when I realized that I didn't believe in god. I found this song right at that time. Awesome!

What's wrong with enjoying something not in your own language? I don't have to speak German to enjoy the music. That's sort of a rude thing to say.."Keep German things German". There's nothing wrong with sharing your music with people who don't know the language. And if you'll notice, there are english translations on this video, I assume for people who don't know German in the first place. There's no need to be selective in who can comment and in what language.

@snes317 Well, yes. Grammar is a important part of the german language. Instead of "the" we use "der" (male), "die" (female) and "das" (neutrum). That´s just one example. Here´s another one: gift means in german "Geschenk" while "Gift" has the meaning of poison. You should watch out for the familar words because they often have a different meaning in german. I hope i wasn´t writing much. ^^

@AlienGh0st Well, it is about how humans invented god. You need atheism as premise, even the song is not about atheism. Besides the translation is not accurate, so maybe you get it wrong. For example it actual says: "If you want to be a human and no animal, put god into your territory. So being a human will be the gallow - animals dont need a god." That has a different meaning than the not accurate translation in the video.

A REAL and TRUE Christian doesn't judge ANYONE, including atheists. A person that calls another person negative names because their beliefs are different is not following the Christian religion correctly. The Christianity religion teaches to treat EVERYONE with respect and "love thy neighbor" regardless of ANY reason. Next time, just remind them this- "If you knew the Bible, then you would know it clearly states, 'Do not judge or you will be judged' and 'He that is without sin shall cast (throw) the first stone.'" It sounds like these people are the hypocrites that give Christians a bad name. It makes me angry because I am a Christian and I respect everyone as opposed to acting like I'm better than anyone else. Please believe that true Christianity is not ever supposed to be judgmental and never treats another person negatively. You don't deserve to be judged. I don't deserve to be judged and neither does anyone else. We are all human beings and we all deserve respect regardless of beliefs, religion, race, gender etc.

Except the vast majority of atheists act exactly how you describe. They go around mocking people's beliefs, poking fun at them because they can, and people like Bill Maher are the flagship perpetrators as he does this needlessly.

catastrophucked Ridicule is just a harsher form of criticism. Religion deserves criticism. Especially in America, where (despite a clearly established separation of church and state) politicians often propose bills/laws that would deprive people of their rights based on obvious religious biases. Some of these proposals even get accepted. That shouldn't happen. An elected official should leave their religion at home or in church. They shouldn't take it to the office with them.
