Yes you can.
I would NOT try your onions. You used a serrated knife on a bamboo cutting board. There’s small bits of bamboo in the onions and that’s not good! I’m sure your onions taste good but I would recommend you NOT use a serrated knife on a cutting board. 👍🏼
