The grilled chips are massive slices of potatoe it feels more like eating just that, a large potatoe slice rather than a fry

The biggest mistake was not getting the Cali burrito from GyG. They are amazing. Also, you don't go to Hungry Jacks for chicken. It's all about the beef. Keep up the good work. Love your videos.

In this video we were bound to the #1 most ordered dishes on doordash or ubereats. We did not chose ourselves :) trust me if I tell you that it will not be our last time at some of these places

You really need to try Vietnamese Bahn Mi rolls. Pork rolls are the best.

I prefer a Banh Mi, fish and chips or a pie, sausage roll or slice of cake from a local bakery.

I've lived in Australia all my life, and I've never heard of Chargrilled Charlie's Also, you were right - Oporto chicken isn't supposed to be crunchy. A bit selling point of Oporto is the sauce. Not liking spicy means they lose their biggest selling point with you

chargrill charlies is big in sydney and its amazing. And I also dont eat chili but LOVE oprego sauce at oporto. they definitely do have a decent range for the non chilli lovers

@jessicak3543 I live in Sydney and have for over 30 years Oporto does have other options, but they had to order the Bondi burger because it was most common. Meant Oprego wasn't an option

Speaking as an Australian: Red Rooster is HORRENDOUSLY variable in quality - from store to store, from day to day, from shift to shift. Sometimes what you get will be amazing, and other times you'll get stuff that is super over-cooked, tough and dry. No single experience there will tell you the whole story. Also, they don't serve milkshakes. Pretty sure they never have. I find Pie Face very mid. I'd rather have a Mrs Macs. I don't mind Grill'd, but it's not my first choice. I don't think I've had GYG. HJs Burgers are definitely better than Maccas. We don't have a Chargrill Charile's where I live. Oporto serves amazing food.Or at least, they used to. I haven't been there in about 10 years.

Cheers for trying our fast food :) I will say that you'll find much more enjoyable food from the countless smaller shops around the place. Fast food is usually only 'so' good, but makes sense if you're comparing Netherlands to here 😁 Best food I've had is from the small corner shops haha

It's a Chicken Roll from Red Rooster, not a sandwich. A sandwich is something between 2 slices of bread.

I'm Australian. Good reviews of these. I quite like Oporto so seeing a poor review of that was rough, haha. I think Grill'd is my favourite of the ones I've tried here, but it's very expensive so I don't go often. Hope you're enjoying your time in Sydney. :)

I have had Red Rooster from a number of different locations over the years and I have always regretted it, but when I did a security course back in the 2000s, they warned us not to go to the Red Rooster nearby as it often resulted in students feeling queasy afterwards, I'm amazed RR has been in business for so long and had so many franchises considering this fact.

Try a normal suburban Fish and chip shop. Great burgers better prices. Items you don't have in Europe, try DimSim , Chico Roll, pineapple fritter, banana fritter, potato scallop/cake/fritter ( different states call it different,but Sydney its potato scallop).

so for round 2. Red rooster is know for and built on roast chicken (no coating, not fried), also try the flavour wrap and mixed roast vegies.

The bondi burget use to be the best burger when it was just a small shop in bondi. Now that its a massive chain its no where near as good as it use to be.

As someone who used to work at grilld those chips were under seasoned the burgers are over priced and the team members that are trainees used to only get paid 12.90 an hour under paid

I personally prefer the Sweet Potato Fries from Grill'd, with Herbed Mayo. Also, the chicken burrito at GYG is phenomenal, they way they cook their chicken for that, so good.

You should try Frango’s the chicken burgers are awesome

It depends where you eat. If I got fries like mcdonalds at a fish and chip shop. I'd burn it to the ground. Fish and chips are meant to have thick fries. Just on principle alone. Fries are meant for fast food only. Grilled is more restaurant style chips, not fast food shoe string fries.

Yeah i agree 👍 💯 percent but Mecca's is so expensive less food Hungary jack's the burgers are better and better value for the same things 😉

Get a KFC Zinger Stacker box meal! Also try Nandos and Zambreros!

Should also try El Jannah, Frangos, Mad Mex, Chubby Buns and P'Nut. I personally like Guzman the most. Also - Piccolo Me! and Gloria Jeans.

“No healthy burgers in Europe” 😂

I went to Grilld once. I ordered and told them i dont like mayo, so no mayo thanks. My burger came, and yes, mayo. I reminded them i ordered no mayo, they took it back, cooked a fresh one and refunded my money. Which is great, but took about half an hour for a fast food burger!!

Don’t mind a bit of wed Wooster 😂😂😂

red rooter off the rip is heinous, that ones even got mixed opinions among locals - its definitely Australian made but probably our worst fast food place. enjoyed the video

Cool video, instead of taking the most ordered item i would suggest doing a poll or something. The most ordered items are usually the cheapest so not the best.

Nando's is a much better Portuguese chicken shop than Oporto

Oporto isnt spicy at all.. since they franchised the business it turned into a spice for weeklings that cant take spice, much like most asian restraunts adapted their dish to accommodate western people. only the original bondi or maroubra stores are authentic

I don’t red reviews. Everyone sees things differently and they can be affected by people’s moods.

Nandos and opporto are the same company, sort of, Opporto is the Australian version of Nandos apparently, in Europe i think there is Nandos already. Your least Fav is already there lol, Pie Face is good but Harrys is way better.

No, Nandos exists in Australia too, but yes do they do have some similarities. Oporto is owned by the same company that owns Red Rooster.

Why do they keep talking about Europe like it's one country? I live in Ireland and we may not have those specific chains but we have equivalents. We can get pies from a local delis, healthy burgers, mexican food, and Hungry Jacks is just the Australian name for Burger King. I do miss Charcoal Charlies in Bondi though. Such a good feed and plenty of healthy options.
