Only Boys Aloud - You Will Be Found from Dear Evan Hansen
Музыка
Only Boys Aloud (OBA), part of The Aloud Charity, runs year-round with a mission to engage teenage boys across Wales with the power of choral singing and, through this, promote self-belief, confidence, encourage aspiration, build skills and develop communities.
Through weekly OBA rehearsals, we engage with around 200 boys each week across Wales. In locations which cover some of the most deprived areas in Wales, the OBA choirs are free to join and there are no auditions to take part, making the scheme fully inclusive and accessible. This means that each rehearsal is a ‘melting pot’ of boys from completely different social and economic backgrounds who come together, form new friendships and discover what opportunities there are out there for them.

1:35 That kid could start a professional singing career today. He's got some serious chops. Loads of really excellent singers here but that guy is a standout.

I believe director Tim educates singers when learning a new song; you have to understand the words you are singing. This very talented guy feels, and is expressing the sadness of someone who is extremely lonely and sad. He feels their pain. It is this type of talent that not just makes him a wonderful singer but also someone who could make it in acting/Broadway. I believe another factor is that most people don't see "boys/men" showing this type of emotion. Bravo for him and his great sound.

yep. i totally loved his part.
To qoute my choir director the first day of high school " in this room ( the choir room ) and this building ( the music building ) you are safe this is your safe haven " i found in my darkest times i find myself in the small practice cubicals and some how he knew. He come find me and talk to me. When I was on field trips often alone he sit with me . He was more than my director or mentor he was a friend and a part of my family. Mr.Rayes found me when i was still in a bad place.

The Road to Cosplay and Comic Con I am SO. GLAD. that you found yourself. . .i love this song, not for me, but my baby brother. . .this was his high school experience. He died 30 years ago of a brain tumor from ARC but I still miss him and wish we had implemented some of our anti-bullying measures in school decades before they were recognized as being needed. Sorry. . .sometimes I get maudlin on New Year’s Day as it is a time for reflection.

You just made my cry, a happy one but also one of sadness. My years in school choir was one of my major sources of joy. There's something about being in the presence of others and using our voices to make something beautiful. It gives me chills just thinking about it. My eighth grade choir teacher saved my life in 1990 when I was outed by my first love. We got caught making out and he convinced everyone that u forced it on him and I was beat, humiliated and tortured for months before I decided to hang myself. Mrs Pat Gunning of Garry Middle School in Spokane Washington did the simplest and best thing she couldn't ever done and asked me if I liked to sing. I was so lost and scared and this was in the middle of the AIDS crisis and teenager's can be so cruel. Her asking me to stay after class and sing with her stopped me from going home and hanging myself. I had everything ready and had just wanted to see him one last time because even through all of that I still loved him and I didn't want to die but seeing his face one last time. Her getting me to sing opened up something in me, I found the voice I didn't know I had and it gave me a reason to stay alive. Singing with those weirdos and freaks and preppies and geeks were some of the best times if my young life. I don't even know what this song is from but it touched me in a place I thought was long past dead.

Only Boys Aloud, Only Men Aloud carry on the long, long tradition of Welsh men's choirs. An Eisteddfod is the most incredible musical experience in the world equally for those on and off the stage.
3:52 omg this kid is gonna have some good vocals when hes older props to his choir teacher You get it boy!!
THE GUY WITH THE JORDAN EVOLVE SHIRT LITERALLY WAS SO GOOD.
Tim Rhys-Evans is the most inspirational conductor I have ever seen. The emotion he finds in singing which he passes on to everyone he works with is truly wonderful. The vocal quality he gets from his singers is a wonder itself. I first saw him conducting Only Men Aloud on the Television and then was able to see them all in concert in Bournemouth. He and all his singers have the power to move me like no-one else has ever done. He has empowered Wales to sing with pride and I am sure his mining forefathers would be so proud. Wales - 'The land of Song'. Thankyou
Me: Man this group is good, how are they ALL this good? *reads they are from Wales* Oh, this makes sense.
3:48 YES THAT WAS A BEAUTIFUL TENOR!!!!!!!!! All these boys are incredibly talented
THAT YOUNG BOY AT THE END WAS SO GOOD. IN THE STRIPPED SHIRT OMG

@@ginacardosi879 He's not finding fault. He's saying that the boy at 3:51 didn't take any prisoners and just belted that line so well that the boys around him were distracted. I would have been too. I got suddenly choked up at that point too. All these changed voices and then that little honey came in. Rock on, little man.
