I recently did some alterations on a JJ's House bridesmaid dress. As a seamstress I can say that the dress was really well made. Yes there were some shortcuts but none that anyone would notice unless they were taking the dress apart like I did. I was altering the dress because the gal ordered the dress too small in hopes of losing weight and she didn't. The dress was also too tall for her, which worked out great for us as I used that length to make the bodice fit her. I would totally recommend JJ's House and I don't think that there is anything wrong with getting a inexpensive dress for your wedding.

I agree. I have never seen a jjshouse dress in person but have made wedding dresses in the past and this is what I've observed from photos. Also Ladies, it matters what you put under a dress. For example the bra that you wear and the appropriate petticoat. Different shaped petticoats can change the shape of the same gown. If you are having a dress made to order, I recommend getting the kind of undergarments that you will wear and then measuring with them on. ( after wearing the undergarments for at least 8 hours or more to know if they are comfortable and stay in place. After all, you wan to be comfortable on your big day.) For the same reason, measure height with the shoes that you will wear to dance in . Thanks for this review.

I bought a custom-sized blue cocktail dress from JJ’s, and it fit me properly and was well-made. I am a skilled amateur seamstress, and I tend to judge off-the-rack clothes somewhat harshly. The dress had no pockets and was polyester, but that wasn’t a surprise. (My desires for pockets, a perfect fit, and natural fibers are the reasons I sew my own dresses.)

I actually bought a cathedral veil from JJshouse and it's really great. You just gotta dig into the site and add some more detail by hand. I added a different comb to mine and it looks just like the one David's bridal was trying to sell me for 700.00 and instead I paid 45.00

Definitely the 2nd to last dress was the most flattering but just a couple thoughts... the crinoline is usually sold separately from other dresses so it's not really fair to judge a dress for not being fully pouffed(??) out on its own, and definitely agree the illusion netting/mesh is not the right color. I wish you could choose what the shade mesh is if it's supposed to be an illusion.

Keep going girl. It was aesthetically pleasing to watch. We absolutely need more content from you 💖💖

Dress number 4 was my favourite. The tulle on that one looked finer and softer compared to some of the others and it was a really flattering shape

I just got engaged and have been looking into inexpensive gowns. Since my fiance and I don't know when we're getting married, and it will probably be a longer engagement, looking online at other options has been much easier than going to boutiques. I've been falling in love with some dresses on JJ's House but was R E A L L Y skeptical. This video helped SO much!

@@1ARGS2020 it was so beautiful! I had so many compliments on it. I used the custom measurements and it came and fit me perfectly. None of my family could believe the price of it. I also bought my bridesmaids dresses from there. There were 6 of them. I didn’t get these one custom sized and a couple were completely wrong size wise but the returns process was pretty simple and we got everything we needed second time around. I will say it’s a good idea to leave enough time for this.

I wanted to show my husband the mermaid dress for our vow renewal as it was the one he liked most on JJsHouse but I actually really fell in love with the fourth one-which I hadn't even looked at before. My husband liked it a lot too and it's the one we decided over the mermaid one. Reviews with photos help a lot with actual looks on people and even the color-we especially wanted some color but it's hard to see on the site without reviews. This helps really tons. Now looking for reviews on accessories from that site lol. Thank You!

Thanks for your review! I would like to add that all of their dresses come fully lined, too. I love JJ’s. I’ve bought several clothing and accessory items. I’m currently waiting on my wedding dress to arrive though. So far, they’ve been great! I’ve even survived a return. It takes some time, but they will refund.

Honestly I watched this review and then purchased dress 4 and I am so happy. I did custom size, a little space under the boob area but minor alteration will fix. I love my dress. I have now purchased the petticoat.

I landed up getting my dress from a bridal boutique but I need another YES another maid of honour dress for my daughter. She dared to lose weight after altering her dress I bought 🤣🤣🤣🤣 So I’ll be looking at JJs again xx

I feel you, I have tried a few similar to this in boutiques that range from 1600-2500 and I could never pay for it, so I was looking online so I am glad I could see how well these turn out

I've given myself a $500 budget for my dress because I know that you can get really good clothes for that much and I can't imagine more for a one time wear dress (not proposed to yet but coming soon and I like to be prepared financially lol. But looking online I was starting to think that wasn't a fully realistic price, found this website and now encouraged by your video!

Ok first of all your wedding plan sounds like a dream! I actually wanted to have a backyard wedding but didn't have the right space so you Grans farm sounds perfect! I have another video on my wedding DIYs that you might like if you haven't seen it already. My wedding was at a blueberry farm and we did all the decorations but they catered the food. Congrats on your upcoming wedding!

For the strapless dress, Did it feel comfortable lifting your arms up? Just wondering with dancing etc.

I wish I could get a wedding dress haul from j j house. That would definitely help with the choosing and fitting of my wedding dress for 2021. My wedding party and their opinion would be apart of the video taping of it. And the one I chose I would buy! JJHouse dress are really cute. Thanks for the reviews. You did a great job. Good to know you were pleased with the quality as I have been thinking of ordering some other clothing from JJs. I havent seen your other videos yet (will so do soon) but if I could make one suggestion - you could wear some high heels with these dresses (or whatever footwear a bride may wear) and then they wouldnt have been so long, so the details at the bottom wouldnt have been on the floor. High heels also would have altered the way you hold your body, and show off the dress better. I was a bit surprised you were barefoot. Anyway, just my two cents worth. Keep up the good work.

As a bride on a budget who’s eloping in Hawaii next month (March 2020) - thank you so much for creating this informative review in a spacious & well lit setting! I wanted a beautiful wedding dress for my upcoming wedding day, but I personally didn’t want to pay over $200 for a dress I will wear for literally only two & a half hours! I was so scared to take a risk on a dress from an online shop, but your review gave me the confidence to give them a chance. I ordered my dress on Monday, February 3rd (my elopement isn’t until 03/21). I hope I look & feel as beautiful in my dress, as you did in each dress you modeled (#4 was my favorite).
