I ended up spending less than 5k for my wedding. used a family members land, diy'd as much as possible. a family friend officiated (we still gave him $100), catering was a family friend ($700), and family friend as a photographer ($300). My MIL restored her mothers dress & I wore that. it was beautiful! I'm here though because I am looking for a black dress on JJshouse for our 1 year anniversary photos (October). not looking to spend A TON. thank you for the review!!

Me too! $5k on the dot for 50 people. My dress was from JJ's and was fiyah!

The last dress was the best. I think it being a bit more made it better. JJ's House is the one. You save money without it being too cheap to be quality. My favorite bridal gown videos it the ones where people buy thrift store gowns around Halloween when they have them really cheap and update for 2023 looks. One woman actually bought 3. One for high quality the satin. The other 2 for the appliques. anyone that sews well could end up with a high-quality gown that way and even though they were thrifted she would have her own unique look by redoing it,

When I was getting married (1997) I was concerned that the dress I loved was $900. My sister who married before me regretted not getting her dream dress and told me to go for it so I wouldn’t have any regrets like her. I did buy it and still love it all these years later! Im getting remarried and have found a dress at JJ’s in the special occasions section that I love and it’s under $500 Canadian. You could donate them to a place that gives prom dresses to girls who can’t afford them.

Wow, those were some very beautiful wedding dresses. I have spent alot of time pouring through wedding dresses at JJ's House & Hebeos. They really have some beautiful dresses! I loved them all! You look gorgeous modeling them. Maybe you can keep your favorite to have a special renewing your vows ceremony with your husband and surprise him wearing your favorite pic! I had looked at the white wedding dress from Hebeos myself and considered it. I didn't expect it to be so beautiful. I thought the blush dress was lovely on you too.

All the women in my family (Grandmother, Mother, 3 Aunts, 2 cousins and myself) designed and sewed my dress and my head dress. I lost it due to Hurricane Harvey in 2017. I was married in 1992 so my Grandmother and an Aunt were no longer living. I think it is the biggest loss of ALL the items we lost….

Though I love the last dress for the wedding, I would need a second dress for moving around the the reception and dancing. But with those prices, that’s a possibility.

I got it as a photography background on Amazon. It wasn't super expensive and it's fabric, so it doesn't show the creases like vinyl backgrounds do.

All the dresses looked really good on you! I've been looking at some of these sites and have been really curious... especially since I've noticed the pictures aren't some of their own and don't want to get a knock off, hot mess that's cheap looking! I really like the JJs house dress, but feel like if the halter was a snap, or hook instead of a string it would of made the back look more sleek.

There's a dress on hebeos and prom Lily it's a v neck glitter top that almost looks like a greyish/heavy silvered top with a blush pink ball gown and prom Lily has it for $157.00 and it's called "pink long tulle ball gown v-neck 2022" that I've been looking at and think it would make a beautiful wedding dress in the blush pink or a sherbet bottom but I haven't seen anyone post an actual picture of it and don't know who actually makes the dress to see what the price of the real dress is. But I'm scared to order it incase it's not what it looks like cause it's SO PRETTY!

My choice is the blush but now, you have JJ house it's gorgeous. My first dress was a mark down in Penny's for $25. My second wedding I spent $3000 and never wore it because of the weather. Now I have all the money in the world to spend and still can't decide.

This seem like a good and honest review. The dresses was nice, and I have been wondering about all of these shops. Especially Hebeos because that's who really caught my eye. My sister got her mermaid style dress on Azazi and it was beautiful. Definitely didnt look cheap and her MIL was able to do the adjustments. I have to try on clothes before buying so Ima look around at different stores. Dont trust myself to buy the correct style for my small body lol

How did you spend $1500 for your whole wedding? :o I pulled my hair out trying to plan my wedding for under $8k. Ended up picking a venue that has a bunch of stuff included for $15k. Probably spending $18k total

I know, it all adds up so quickly! Having the venue be free and getting all my floral stuff for 80% off, and having someone make all my dresses for free probably accounted for most of the money I saved. It wasn't a grand wedding though. If I can find my photos somewhere in my storage, I'll try to post them in another video.

Also, you have daughters that are nearly grown??! You have such youthful skin! Please share if you have any tips on how to stay looking so young.

Thank you! I have thought about doing a skin care routine video, the main things I do are 1. eat clean food 2. exercise and hydrate 3. skin care for the past 20 years has pretty much been Mary Kay moisturizers 4. get plenty of sleep.

Hi! Ever-Pretty arrived within a week because their dresses are already made and ready to ship. Hebeos I custom sized and they arrived in about three weeks. JJs House also custom sized and it arrived in about four weeks.

I totally understand, ordering online is such a risk because it's hard to tell what you'll get and the sizing and everything. I do wish that there were more product photos instead of just model photos, but I was pretty happy with the dresses I got.

Married in 1965 and spent $500. My sister and I went shopping and trying on wedding dresses to see if what I thought I wanter looked good. I was married in Sept. and bought a summer dress on sale. I got wht I wanted on sale. My dress cost less than my veil. I wore a lace manilla. The dress cost $50 on sale and the lace veil cost $100. The wedding cake cost more because mom wanted a cake topper with a sailor in bellbottems. We couldn't get that. But she special ordered one which of course cost more. Plus gad to be special delivery due to the wedding being a month away. LOL try c o ordination a date between an Army office fathers leave a ND leave time for a navy enlisted sailors leave time ended up getting married on a date that gave everyone a dated that left them with just enough time the next d a t for everyone to leave early the next morning to get to their duty station in time for work.

Honestly shocked you had a good customer service experience with JJS house. I had the worst experience with them that actually left me believing they were a scam company. Sent a rubbish quality bridesmaid dress in the wrong colour, charged £20 delivery to send it less than two hours from their warehouse in a rubbish plastic wrapping and then when we requested a refund only gave back less than half of what we paid. Scammed us out of £60 and failed to respond to any complaints

Since making this video I got a steamer and learned how to use it on more delicate fabrics and it has made all the difference! I think when I choose dresses I get stuck in one or two certain styles, usually a fitted bodice and a full skirt, so I try to reach outside that a little to keep things interesting. Although I will say that the JJS House dress was my dream dress if only I'd ordered the right color 😢
