Do you ever have problems with the goatheads popping your tires? That trail has given me more MTB flat tires than any and all other trails combined, even with goo. I used to live there and my parents still do. Hoping to hit some trails with my pint at the end of the month!

Nope, no problems. The Onewheel tires are pretty thick. The stock goo has always taken care of me so far. But with that said, I've changed two tires so far (for reason of mileage and normal wear) on the XR and the plus and I use a half a bottle of armor-dilloz. Just search armor-dilloz and Onewheel if you haven't heard of it. The trail gets more visitors these days because of greater tourism. More traffic on the trails means less stickers. You should have a great time. I like going down the trail, starting near indigo ridge and lakeview, go around potato hill and then on up the west side to lake Powell boulevard. The golf course ⛳ at sunset (to avoid active golfers) is always great If you're looking for someone to join ya you can shoot me a message here, or on Onewheel app, or even instagram. If lucky I won't be too busy and I'll join ya... Or anyone else for that matter. Big Family, kids in school, work, always keeping me busy busy

👍. I have another video that I originally intended to proceed this one or to post along with it, but it just wasn't ready. Nevertheless, I felt I was due to post a Onewheel vid and shared it anyway. Love this Pint test! Do you have an XR? Do you think you would have fallen off in the same parts you did in this video if you were riding an XR instead?

Thanks. I do have an XR yes. I have trouble in pretty much all the same areas with the XR as the Pint. I really was surprised at the Pint's off-road-ability. The XR will have a bit more clearance and circumference on the tire. The larger XR will do a bit better off road because of this, but the Pint is an able little beast. With the larger onewheel I have successfully rode down the steep hill once and never got a "getting a little rowdy" warning error when riding. The flat Vega tire is great on *soft sand as it distributes weight slightly better (like snow shoes). But I do like the nimble carve of the Pint Most important differences between the XR and Pint in my opinion is: 1.) higher top speed on the XR 2.) more range on the XR 3.) All other differences are subjective to the needs and wants of the rider... Or can be modified such as the wheel. A more rounded tire can be installed on the XR for example.

Damn I remember that trail before they put that road there haha

Me too. Used to ride mountain bikes with friends around the trail. Surfing the trails is slower but more challenging and zen-inducing... *For me

It's great. Just came back from a sunset 🌇 pint run on trail, golf course ⛳, and skate park on way home. 6 miles with 10% battery remaining. So fun. Pint really holds its own. In some cases Pint does better than the XR on rocks... Specifically in scenarios where you need to weave between two boulders or something. Overall the XR is going to be better than the Pint on rocks, simply because of the larger wheel and higher clearance. Pint is a little beast though. Keep it carving and the pushback isn't as noticeable. P. S. Thanks for your comment, you've added a little extra awesome to the day. Today has been best day all week! Any day I can surf the desert 🏜 is guaranteed a good day 😸. Comments on my videos makes me feel not so solo. 😎👍

I got my pint 2 days ago and I have already rode over 20 miles is that normal

Congrats on the Pint. It's a cup that overflows continuously with thrills, but yet can't be refilled enough. I don't ride enough. Ride as often as you can. It's not unheard of to ride several miles in first couple days, but it's also not completely unheard of for those who have difficulty getting the feel. Sounds like you're doing alright. Respect the machine and enjoy the ride. Have a righteous day everyday!

No you can't charge it while it's running, but there are modifications that can be made to attach an additional external battery to extend the range.
