I've always wondered about sharing rides through the app. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Fortunately, I'm usually too lazy to use the Onewheel app to track my rides.

Thanks much. So sorry for late reply and acknowledgment. For some reason your response was in my "needs approval" spam box. Weird!

Hahha so, I used the Onewheel app for the first time today to make a “new ride”. And my FIRST thought was, “... I should probably NOT begin my ride in my driveway...” so then I rode someplace else outside of the neighborhood to start my ride. I’m glad to see somebody bringing up this point and emphasizing the importance of it. I hope FM edits the app to encourage and warn people to NOT start their rides from their homes. Or at least emphasize users to keep those private.

👍. Thanks for sharing. App could definitely use some changes. Late responding because KZread sometimes puts comments In a "held for review" box and I don't know why. I havnt checked that box in a while

Top left end-screen link is Jimmy Chang's video on onewheel anti theft tips and products kzread.info/dash/bejne/rH-tsK-Bf6ffpc4.html I suppose, if you live in a big city in a big apartment building, starting your PUBLIC ride at the front door will only link you to several hundred or thousand other people, no big deal. For others who live in rural areas, or in a personal home, it is a very bad idea.

Good thing to point out with the recent influx of Onewheelers, and those wanting to share everything. Other good places to start or stop rides are "cocaine apartments", dispensaries, donut shops, federal buildings, other illegal places, or where there are high concentrations of law enforcement!

I always start my ride in front of other peoples houses.

I suppose that works😅. I try to respond to everyone. KZread holds some comments for review and it makes no sense why. Just checked my "held for review box" today. Haven't checked it in a while 👍
