man these samples are amazing. my OP9 pro has been my camera champ for years now and I'm excited for whatever comes next!!! I'm not a big foldable guy TBH but this camera system gives me hope.

Do you use Gcam/Google Camera? Took some bad shots and went to fix with Live/Motion and realized that wasn't a thing with OnePlus...

I was really impressed with these cameras when fordable cameras has always equaled compromise in the past. Came out as my personal top shooter for the normal photo in the MKBHD shoot out last month and top 3 in the other 2 categories. A big shock up against phones that are almost more camera than phone.

I can certainly point to things I prefer on the 1" type phones, but given the volume and depth requirements, the open is a banger.

But I'm still waiting for the return of quad camera on foldable phones. As far as I'm aware, there's only three foldable phones existed with quad camera setup. They are Huawei Mate X2, Vivo X Fold/Fold+, and Xiaomi Mix Fold 3.

The OnePlus 12 has a main camera that's very similar to this one, but lacks the 2-layer transistor 'stacked sensor' technology. I'd love to see you get the chance to compare the camera performance between the two different technologies.

As I have mentioned earlier, OP 12 has LYT-808, OP open has LYT-T808. with the major difference being the 2-layer transistor.

Great review. But in reference to the comments about people sleeping on one plus cameras, people sleep on any brand that's not apple and Samsung. iPhone and Galaxy people still turn their noses up at Pixel phones. We all know that most consumers are driven by brand recognition moreso than actual product knowledge and performance

Exactly...it's not needed. It charges so fast. 10-15 minutes on the charger before going out gives plenty enough battery
