You can install on top of it and there's gonna be data loss u should get a pop up

i have plans to make my room sound proof Currently its messy, sometimes i record multiple times if i find voices n disturbances in the background The mic i use is Omni Directional so yes it attracts everything Most of the times i record during early hours 4/5am just to avoid these issues You can either try a uni-directional mic or stay close to your mic. Staying close will reduce background noises

For safetynet you need to update via ota.. the file link which you've provided isn't signed.. wait for official download or flash beta 19 and update via official ota. Then it should work fine.. for me safetynet check passed. And dowloads frm play store are well and good..

All Open Beta Builds are Signed www.oneplus.in/support/softwareupgrade/details?code=7 And Updating via OTA and Flashing via Local Upgrade is no different. If you capture the OTA via logcat, you will end up with the same download link Playstore works fine, its just the safetynet (CTS Profile), the same happened with OP6 too with First Open Beta

Usually there will be 2 Open beta updates every month and one stable update every 30-45 days And Stable update should be out by this month itself so its better to wait if you don't like updating your phone often

You wont get stable OTA Once beta rom is flashed you will continue to get beta updates For stable updates, you need to rollback to 5.1.7

Hi bro..how to delete cache in OP5T . As there is no option now to clear cache in storage after pie update. Also if u try to change icon, using edit option u will see infinity scroll option for icons. Which is a bug.

For clearing cache try to boot to stock recovery n clear cache from wipe tab

Social media apps such as Instagram and Reddit stuck on load but WiFi works great on browser

Clean flashing should fix it Alternatively check the pinned comment, i did that guide to fix safetynet and i dont have any issues with mic

Stable and beta channels are different You will get the pie OTA only if you are currently Open Beta 20 rom on OnePlus 5T Alternatively you can use the local upgrade method i mentioned in the video to flash OB20 over 5.1.7 with locked bootloader There wont be any data loss because of upgrade but u won't get stable updates anymore you will continue to get 2 open beta updates every month

I upgraded from OxygenOS Open Beta 19 And yeah with clean flash, everything is fine including Google Pay Also some users are having luck with fixing the safetynet issue by clearing playservices and playstore app data + reboot

There's no way to add it If you don't select the location in weather app it will show as "Never settle" You can also try clearing weather app data n you will see never settle logo on home screen instead of weather info
