Thanks a lot... Saved my OP5T. Actually recently i manually updated the android version to 9.0 Pie but thn later my phone started to reboot randomly so many times. I was so damn annoyed and frustrated tht i felt like to throw it. I even called the customer care but they were not helpful as i expected. But thank god i found this video and i was able to make my phone stable again...

Hello, just wanted to share with you that I again experienced the same issue of random rebooting even after following this video. It was working fine few days back but again i am experiencing the same issue SOMETIME (NOT FREQUENTLY AS OF NOW). Can u please explain whats happening??? A L S O I am not getting any Pie OTA Update notification till now... Will i get any updates in future after unbrickng???

Need Help!! I've Installed All the Versions. But After flashing/installing the Stock Oxygen Os with the Msm tool, I went To software update and it says Your system is up to date...and can't even flash manually. And there is no system updates. Ive installed it many times a year ago bt there was always been a system update bt now there isnt any system update.

Thankyou bro for making the video on demand. Love your efforts. But I got an alternative for this, without unbricking or without complexing the procedure. I downloaded the OP5T stable ROM from the community forums, thn opened my device in recovery mode -> thn did a Wipe Data And Cache, after that moved the stable OP5T Oxygen OS to device -> then flashed the stable ROM -> after downgrading, I once again Wiped the data and Cache from recovery mode. Finally, my device was on stable Oxygen OS 5.1.7 with October Security Patch.

Not for backup. So u booted to recovery - wiped data n cache rebooted back to OS - Transferred Stable rom to your phone and did a local upgrade ? or after wiping data n cache, you temporarily booted to TWRP - transferred rom to your phone and flashed it with the recovery ?

Can't we wait 1-2 weeks to get the official update and then flash it over pie beta 20. Just like we do when we go to stable to beta. We can switch from beta to stable. It's just we need to take backup of full phone apps.

Hi many of your links shows no files, I recently happened to brick my OP5, can you update the links please, is it the same process?

In what condition/mode must the phone be in when using the Unbrick Tool?

As the official Android Pie Version for the oneplus 5t is out, am I able to root the phone without any problems?

Do i need to backup my data before degrade it? I have to do it urgently as i am facing microphone issue hardly and i am so disappointed with it.

If you see "Waiting for download", disconnect the USB cable, hold the Volume Up button for longer and keep it held as you connect it to the PC again. Rescan for hardware changes, then run the MSM tool again. That worked for me. P.S. That google drive link for [OxygenOS 5.1.7 ] doesn't work anymore.

Okay so I had an issue where my phone was bricked and the only mode I was able to boot in was fastboot mode (Cannot boot into recovery) >How did I fix it, I had my bootloader locked at that time (and unlocking and locking your bootloader wipes your entire data), so during the fastboot mode, I unlocked my bootloader using "fastboot oem unlock" and that fixed my bricked phone and bought it back stock pie. (Warning, you will lose all your internal storage data)

you just unlocked bootloader, and it does wipe and resets everything. So you just factory formatted it once to boot.

For H2OS - O2OS, you don't need this guide Just download Open Beta 20 and use local upgrade method

Not sure clearing data will fix the safetynet So first try the clear data thing and if it doesn't work try method 2 [ Flash H2OS Open Beta and then OxygenOS Open beta 20/22 again] I will test the same and update in couple of hours

If u can find 5.1.7 unbrick tool, then you can revert back to 5.1.7 and update to 9.0.0 If u use nougat unbrick tool 4.7.4 to 5.1.4 5.1.4 to 5.1.7 than 5.1.7 to 9.0.0 There is 5.1.5 build available too i guess for 5T So 5.1.5 to 5.1.7 then Pie
