With OnePlus implementing the 4 major OxygenOS/Android OS updates and 5 years of security patches policy for 1st tier models (since 2023), this and the 12R are looking like better bargains amongst flagships. 💯 Though Samsung is starting the 7-year update policy with the S24 series just like the Pixel, we don't know yet how and if the hardware would hold up flawlessly. (especially when the chipset is Exynos 😭)

I wouldn't buy a smartphone without any sort of telephoto lens in 2024. 12R doesn't have one. And at that price, it should at least have the 2x of OnePlus 12.

Oneplus problem is software update quality. It degrades with time, on the other hand Samsung software improves the device with subsequent updates. I faced this problem with my oneplus 11. On the other hand s23 ultra actually improved with Android 14 update, device I have in my house

One plus also has paid well to all tech fluencers to get them more customers.

hi, being a s24+ owner and previous oneplus 11 owner . Yes OnePlus provides a good specifications but the software one ui is great , infact it bugs and glitche free . I used the oneplus 11 for 3 months (bought in oct2023) and the software is bad , so many bugs and camera , it just started getting hang , and it happened after a security patch update !! . So i still recommend Samsung if you want a true and bug free software and just things ro run smooth for a long time

OnePlus 12 is not a flagship killer, it costs whooping 65,000 rupees. You can get iPhone 15 for 1000 rupees extra LOL. A normal person would rather buy an iPhone if they get that kind of money. Not saying the device is bad, but people won't probably buy a Chinese phone for that much.

I'm subscribing to this channel because she's the ONLY ONE who reported the display brightness ACCURATELY! Everybody else is simping Samsung and only using Samsungs reported screen brightness numbers but those numbers are ALWAYS misleading. Some reviewers are directly misreporting by saying OnePlus screen is less bright by shooting it a certain way to make it look that way (probably paid by Samsung) and some reviewers simply aren't using the accurate numbers. This is THE ONLY CHANNEL who did it right.

Samsung does need to clear it's software interface a bit. Having 2 apps for everything doesn't actually help if you don't need them. Also Samsung could have gained the upper hand if they improved on some of the aspects that it has been keeping the same for the last few years.

Buy the OnePlus, I just got my OnePlus 12 today and it's amazing. I was using iqoo Neo 7 before this, it was a good phone but iqoo ui and software is dogshit. You will not feel the flagship experience even with similar hardware to the OP12 . That's 13k is worth it.

Whenever i buy a phone that crosses the Rs 40k mark, I never consider a Chinese brand. If I'm spending that much money on a phone, not only do I want it to have the latest and the greatest features but also good after sale services, better software support and above all a brand value. And what I hate the most about Oppo and its sister companies like Vivo, OnePlus, etc. is that they are selling practically the same phones under different brand names with very little to no product differentiation.

Nobody cares about 7 years update or after services, and anyway, in China one plus is offering 2 years screen replacement for free and forever screen film replacement. I have an iPhone 14 pro, nobody is caring in Apple about serious battery problem this model has, they simply just loop you in un useful conversation like ok, please don't use always on display ahhh

Samsung has yet to fully figure out exposure and brightness - both excessive at times. OnePlus is even more bright - while good for social media or whatnot - from a photography pow they are plain wrong.

The only thing is to worry about OnePlus is it's quality control and brand value which Samsung offers. I have used OnePlus once before and it's feel exactly same as realme phones except without bloatware whereas Samsung's UI is quite a lot promising (Specially in Flagships) so it is easily takes the cake for me. Though I definitely praise OnePlus's haptics where Samsung is not up the mark, no doubt Samsung's vibration motor is amazing but implementation in whole software is always a missed opportunity.

Great review! Watching it from the oneplus 12. The cameras are mind blowing for me... Overall it is the most complete package under 65k imo

1+ definitely improved from 1+11 and for the price it definitely justifies with most of the features.

Finally!! I have found a woman's insightful review of these two phones that I have been researching over the last couple of weeks. I'm still using my OnePlus 7 pro ( testimony enough😉. I do a lot of Photography out in nature & I've been pretty satisfied with the camera on this phone. Hopefully the OnePlus 12 is going to be an upgrade from my 7, as I have been reading and hearing that One+ seemed to slide backwards for a couple of years on the quality of the cameras on their phones. Thanks to this review, I am even now more- so leaning towards the OnePlus 12. Thank you for this review 👍🏼

Most of them are still giving the nod to the new Samsung, and starting to see some reviews leaning towards the new pixel phone. I just finally got my OnePlus 12 ordered from their store ( that was not the easiest experience for me). Trusting I will not be disappointed in my purchase.

Still on my 7pro too and very pleased with the pictures it takes. Taking better shots that my Sister's iPhone 14 Pro max. But! My wife just got herself the OP 12 and it absolutely kills my 7pro in every situation. That's insane the improvement that has been made on the smartphones cameras the last couple of months.

I have questions !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I herd one plus 12 have manufacturing issue like moiste going in to the cameras is it same in all one plus 12 or some of them becuse i going to buy it can some tell is i safe saf to buy

In my opinion, AI features don't really matter that much. Especially, since the AI features that Samsung and Google are offering are somewhat rudimentary. People forget that AI is still in its infancy. I would also like to comment that AI capability is built into the SOc. To that end, Oneplus can add AI features down the road via updates. After all, the Snapdragon 8 generation 3 chipset will be relevant for many years to come.

Iqoo 12 would have made alot of sense up there as most people don't want to spend too much on a smartphone.

The funny thing about it is that all the pictures that appeared were clearly better on the OnePlus in terms of lighting, details, and as a picture in general, but you were unjustifiably leaning toward the Samsung, even saying that the accuracy of the Samsung Which comes out of lens 3x It was better than OnePlus, and this is something that the reviewers did not say, even those who love Samsung. How does a small 10-megapixel sensor compare to a large 64-megapone sensor?

This will be a difficult decision... On one hand, there is fluid and lightning fast Oxygen OS with great features and on the other hand, there is an excellent AI based Samsung with stunning photos and post processing. There is another question about smart watch. In case of S24/Ultra, there is a clear winner galaxy watch 6, but in case of OP12?

It depends, with the discounts and trade ins , s24 ultra might be couple.hunderds more expensive than op, not saying it's better but not twice expensive. MSRP price is almost never the price you buy the android phones, unlike Apple.
