toyota rav4 is a practical choice.

The VW`s are out of the question for me, due to VW only selling EV`s here.. Would probably go for the RAV4 due to reliability.

I did sound insulation and rust protection on mine and have been very happy with the car. Only thing I would like is to have more rear bias in 4wd system. Mine is plugin and EV mode alone has over 200 HP.

Thanks for another great video.I thoroughly enjoyed it.I love the exterior of the VW Tiguan Hybrid,and the interior until I look at the dash. I look forward to proper buttons that can be operated whilst keeping most of your attention on the road.and doing away with that stuck on the dashboard look.I think if VW can get that right then I’d have a clear winner.

I haven’t tested new versions of VW and Skoda, but among previous models of popular SUV I was the most impressed my Ford Kuga / Escape, especially in therms of driving experience.

Hi Thomas, I really appreciate how detailed and precise you are in your reviews. Also, somehow you almost always answer the questions I'm interested in, although in reality I did not have a chance to ask you about those questions... So, you read my mind. :) That makes you the best car reviewer in the world, that's my opinion and I'm pretty confident about that. However, usually you do not assume... you speak based on what you experienced. So, why are you assuming here Škoda Kodiaq is just a bigger Tiguan? I think you have not had a chance to confirm that. How do you know the sound isolotion of Kodiaq is not terrible (I'm not saying it is)? Or susspension and ride experience, it can be completely different comparing to Tiguan? Keep up the great work! Have you tried Global Dominion Financing Inc. for car financing or car refinancing (Sangla OR/CR)?

These euro cars are like brand new Android phones , owner should keep buying or upgrading to new version to avoid any issues beyond 2 or 3 years of ownership.

Freshly announced 5008 is the most attractive to me.. has the most space, 7seats, looks the best inside and out and i hope it will be priced right.

CRV PHEV for me. But price is 5 k too high.

We have had one for the last two years

Between the cars in this segment I choose Qashqai, Sportage and Tucson are due for facelift, Peugeot is very controversial and Tiguan and the new Kodiaq are way overpriced.

Nice Nick, what model did you order and when did you order it? Have a build week in early June myself.

I don’t like the new Tiguan. The front of the R line is ugly. The front of the Elegance looks better. I also don’t like the big touchscreen.

I wish we had French cars in NA. I’ll never forget how fun my Peugeot 106 forever was

Thanks 🙏 i mean sure u can also compare these. Quite different in the philosophy and user interface. Both nice for sure, Tiguan offers more space and better suspension, the Volvo has the scandinavian style… both not excellent in reliability so i d lease

I totally agree . Seen it at VW and the new Tiguan make Tucson and friends looks like a knock off. The finishing an are shit on the Korean and Japanese compared tot he new Tiguan .

3008 has one of the worst ICE engines in therms of reliability in last 3+ decades. Rest is subjective, for me personally is non functional and fake luxury looking but one thing is for sure, tand that;s their ICE issues with 1,.2l engine with belt driven in oil etc

@@JohnyMcNeal u absolutely saying old news,peugeot r one of the most reliable cars since 2016 and the sales proves it,i have a 3008 from 2018 with more than 300000km already with no single issue with the 2.0 diesel engine but i would say the 1.2 litre engine is the weakest,if u want to buy a peugoet buy 1.6 or the 2.0 and u absolutely have a great reliable engine

I did NOT mention anything about 2.0 diesel or 1.6... 1.2l inline 3 cylinder with belt in oil is all but not old news as it's being used for new models and those engines u mentioned are not. I specifically mentioned 1.2l i3 turbo with belt driven in oil! Goodluck buying a diesel now. Oh, is there an 1.6 option in 3008 now?

ALL TSI ,TFSI,FSI ,THP ENGINES ARE RUBBISH !!!

TIGUAN: An everyday car, nothing special. The well known WV reliability issues. 3008: French design, small interior, not practical. KODIAQ: On the positive, the spacious interior with a spare wheel. On the netagive, the center console's buttons have small icons with no colour change, which is stupid in terms of driving safety. VW group is well known for electrical issues. Price over 42Κ, good luck with that! RAV 4: Οld fashioned interior, more expensive, but holds value more than its competitors due to its reliability. Safest choice of all. MAZDA 5: Way too expensive spare parts - red flag for me. CRV: Reliability but weird design and high price. Yet slow devaluation. SPORTAGE: Hyundai group, stiff suspension, way too weird looks, fast devaluation. TUCSON: Obsolete model, facelift on the way bringing essential interior upgrades e.g. center control with physical buttons, front door double glass, bigger screens, baby driving mode, smart head lights... Yet, low position of tail turning lights remain a deal breaker for driving safety reasons. XTRAIL: Different category compared to the others, bigger car, thus more expensive. Qashqai would be a more fair comparison.

Important to acknowledge that there's a new RAV4 coming this year or next year.

Leather: + easier to clean + more biodegradable - doesn't breathe well - burns skin when exposed to sun in summer - cold in winter (synthetic) Textile: + more comfortable (doesn't burn skin, doesn't feel cold in winter). + more breathable - less biodegradable - worse to clean, stains much more easily
