One Wheel... Black Rock

We have a hearty breakfast before gearing up and riding the One Wheel GT in one of the most surreal locations imaginable....this isn't your average One Wheel content usually shot with an Insta360 cam or similar, instead you'll have the view of a person at camp seeing.... and hearing... me... riding off into the distance....into a vast playa....a vast playing field!
The desert is known for mirages and playing tricks with your eyes though......so is it one wheel....or....is it two?
Note: Keeping the edits on the simple side of things for a bit while I learn new editing software and the Mac OS.....I had to edit this video twice lol, the first edit I thought I was all but done only to find I had mucked it up so bad it wouldn't render. I couldn't figure out what I had done wrong so I started over from scratch. Oh yeah... and we're also learning how to live full-time on the road out of a Kimbo....

That is a wild place to ride that One Wheel! Looked like fun...but what a desolate place, and no one else was there? Nice! Your editing turned out great as well. I like the ASMR of your video, telling the tale without talking. 😀

Thank you for watching and the kind comment! We had the area all to ourselves but it's a big place...so quiet ...but during Burning Man it turns into a small city but I've never been during the festival. Crazy fun riding the One Wheel...better traction than expected.

In case anybody is wondering....the opening sequence of shots showing the Kimbo was shot while riding my one wheel and carrying an expensive mirrorless camera and lens....now all I need is a gimble for my camera :)

I already have the 4x4 Tacoma and I'm looking at the Kimbo. Do you know if there's head room and if the bunk will accommodate a 6'2" person? Thanks

Standing up straight in the cabin will be no issue...I'm 5'10" with lots of room above my head. Me and the wife sleep better in the Kimbo than we ever have even at home....at 6'2" you may need to sleep a little diagonal....depends ...if you sleep on your belly your toes may touch the opposite wall.

@@BirdPhish Thanks for your fast response! I'm really thinking hard about this camper because I already have a 2008 Tacoma AC 4x4 with a 6' bed, 2" boost with SuperSprings on the rear for a slide in utility shell I bought 11 years ago. It's the Kimbo or maybe a used fiberglass trailer I'm trying to decide on. I would live in it when I'm not in the Philippines. Do you have any idea what the wait time is from order to delivery? What effect it has on your truck handling, I assume you have the 4L V6? Do you full time in it? I'm a semi retired OTR trucker so I've lived in a truck sleeper, sailboat, 6'x12' converted cargo trailer and the slide in shell. Small places are fine with me.. Thanks again!

Current wait time is 3 months and you'll need 40% deposit....tough terms to swallow but it's the same for everyone. I have a 2" lift with an Icon kit...Firestone air springs in the rear to handle the weight and I have the 2.7 l 4 cyl which is hauling the Kimbo just fine....the truck drives really nice ...not top heavy feeling at all. We've been full time for 7 months now.@@telcobilly
