Hey all, One Week by Barenaked Ladies Sausage guy here! You’re probably wondering why I didn’t comment earlier. The answer is: I tried repeatedly, but KZread refused to let my comments go through. It’s just as well though, because I was so overwhelmed with excitement when this video first dropped that I was at a loss for words. Firstly, for anyone curious: the very first episode where I made this request was the Megan Thee Stallion Chicken Sandwich Sausage episode, released November 5, 2021. Secondly, something I really cannot get over is how amazing this episode went. Not only did everything go flawlessly, but every single thing that could have conceivably gone right DID go right: -5/5 Will It Blow -Sushi never touched a frying pan -Mushy texture, but unironically the finest of the flavors -A 3.5/5 final score, the highest score a sausage can get while still showing off all the sausage art that was made. As a few commentators have pointed out, 3.5 is also one-half of 7, the number of days in one week. Thirdly, you might be wondering what I’ve been feeling today. The best way I can describe it in tangible terms is this: Spyro 2 is one of the first video games I ever played, and I immediately developed an incredibly strong attachment to it. To this day it remains one of my favorite video games of all time. What I feel today is akin to how I felt after beating Spyro 3 for the first time and seeing Elora again in the ending cutscene. It felt so rewarding to once again see a character I loved appear as a result of all the effort I put into beating the game. I felt *joy*. That may not resonate with many of you reading this, but the point is that seeing this sausage become a reality has made me feel a special kind of joy I can’t remember feeling since I was a child, and that’s not for a lack of great, fulfilling memories. On a lighter note, people keep saying that you could’ve said “It’s been one week since you sausaged me” as the song pun, but really there’s a wide range of options you could’ve chosen from: “Like Kurosawa I make mad films, ‘kay I don’t make films, but if I did they’d have a sausage” “Gotta get in tune with Sailor Moon cause that cartoon has got the boom sausage babes to make me think the wrong thing” “Watchin’ X-Files with no lights on, we’re dans la maison, I hope the Sausage Man’s in this one” Capping off this post, I’d like to make a humble request for another sausage that I’ve always been kind of curious about, and know that at least several of your other fans have wanted to see as well: the Sinner’s Sandwich from Deadly Premonition Sausage. White bread, turkey, cereal (your choice), and strawberry jam. I will not be making this a crusade, but I feel like making this request makes for a dignified end to this saga.

Given what a great meme water sausage was, I can't wait to see water sausage sausage. Makes a normal water sausage/sears it/does everything the same, except then chucks it in the grinder and puts the soggy/ground up casing and water in fresh casing.
