For real. Started catching up last week or so and was on I think #509. Searched RT Podcast and saw they had taken the numbers on. Got to #528 and realized #529 started the trend, so far I've gotten them in the right order in a game of guessing.

I live to hear the tech crew for these podcasts laughing in the background.

That's how and why they made those bottles for actually it's so your hand doesn't warm the beer hence the name bottleneck.

39:52 I can confirm this, when I was in secondary school (high school in Ireland), I did Engineering as one of my exam subjects & one module involved welding. Our uniform jumpers were made from like 75% polyester & despite having my sleeves rolled up, my sleeve caught fire from the heat alone, thankfully I managed to avoid any burns to my skin but the smell of singed arm hair followed me around for the rest of the day.

Pro tip for the quiet Apple headphones if the mesh is jammed up. Use the pin they give you to pop out the sim slot and poke the mesh in and then pull it out. Once the mesh is gone they’re fine again and super easy to clean if wax gets in them

Up in Seattle we have woodworking and material science in which we learn metal working and wood working.

woodshop class is primarily taken in high school, I took it 4 years ago in sophomore year.

When Gus started talking about the Shingles thing I silently remembered when I was 6 and had both chicken pox and shingles at the same time.

this was a really good podcast, loved it! i also really love the cameraderie that Elle and Gavin have bc they're both from England. And I loved how upset Gavin was when he found out Ellie knew about the microphone-speaker thing, like he was about to say he didn't know it because he's not from the US! :D

I had Shingles when I was 4 and I had never had chicken pox up to that point. Shingles isn't good, it can do serious damage to your body. Left me with nerve damage and scarring near my eye.

I took a shop class in 2011 when i lived in illinois

some devices have a setting that will help eject water out of the device by making a high frequency sound to put out the moisture, Combine that with the rubbing alcohol you might be able to clear out the headphones.

Sucking your airpods to fix them is disgusting but it is really effective. I’ve done that 3 or 4 times to fix them and they’ve never broke.

The one thing I took away from this episode is, Bill Gates has a trampoline room and it’s his favorite room in his house.

I just had the conversation about going to mars yesterday, where I said I'd gladly volunteer and do what I can to help humanity's spread through space. I ask you to watch Milo Yiannopoulos talk about the British national party. BNP is a racist group who were a force in British politics and were voted to local governments through anxiety and frustrations. BBC had the head of the party on one of their shows, which lead to everyone to criticize the BBC saying they were promoting hate speech. But after the head of the BNP spoke, people saw what they were really like, and they stopped voting for the party. The BNP is no longer a force in British politics.
