@@LindysRuffians got the battery from a German company called PolarCell, I bought through eBay. It didn't quite reach the advertised capacity though, I use an App called accubattery, it estimates about 3170 mAh. Otherwise working great, no further degradation since then, works with Dash charge.

Good video where'd you get those tools from?

I have dropped my phone from 4ft of height 6-7 time is there any effect on internal parts like ic motherboard but I'm using tempered glass and back cover in redmi4

Great video! II replaced the battery on my Oneplus 3t without difficulty. The only thing that was difficult was putting the phone case back on because, it wasn't positioned correctly.

@@o64m42 I left you the Aliexpress link where I bought it. The tools to open the phone also arrive. The phone is almost new. Yesterday I had 2h of screen and I was at 48% charge. Before it was impossible.

What did you do?

Took the sim tray and two screws out and used spudger to remove phone from base. Instead I took screen off the front of the phone while the mainboard stayer in the phone. It still works but now has damage to the bottom of the screen. Looks easy in the video so not sure what I did wrong, was this the first time this phone was taken apart?

Brother my one plus 3 battery drain is terrible. At night if I leave it by morning the battery is like 80% even if I turn on airplane mode and leave it. So when you changed the battery did it last longer than usual and were there any lags ?

And once my phone reaches to battery level at 30% it switches off and does not start without pressing on power for 24 seconds. What could be the issue? is it battery problem or what?

From about 4:00 probably could use some heat to loosen off the glue rather than ripping it apart

Tousif Khan probably the battery. Could be due to peaks in power consumption (high current) that the battery can't handle anymore.

My battery drops faster so if I will but new battery will it drop slower

Better not do it this way! It looks very easy in the video but when removing the top in 0:45 you will likely remove the screen instead of the whole case. I did it and now have to replace my screen and let the battery replace by a professional service.

No...3t has 3400 mah battery...it won't suite

I don't have the right tools. I don't even have long nail in my small finger. Plus it looks complicated. I ll give my 25 EUR to be sure about the job

It's 100% impossible to open...no matter how much I pushed the plastic tool between the screen and the aluminum.. The plastic tool broke but the phone didn't open at all... 😡😕

I don't kow if its even interesting to you, but I had the same problem, looks like newer op3T assembly is a lot stronger. I used this tool : de.ifixit.com/Store/Tools/Jimmy/IF145-259?o=1 to carefully shimm two plastic picks in.
