I really like your ability to explain almost 25 years worth of content in a clear, concise and easily digestible way. Before I found this channel, I was pretty sure I'd never read One Piece, a sentiment I'm sure plenty of others share due to how daunting the number of chapters is, but watching your videos got me so interested and invested that I couldn't help but start reading and trying to catch up. Thanks to you One Piece is quickly becoming one of my favorite series, and I wouldn't have ever given it a second thought otherwise. Keep up the great work, I can't wait to see more!

You watch recaps to spark interest and prepare for new season I watch recaps to know storyline to not be out of pop culture and talk to strangers about it online we're not the same.
Thank you for putting this together! As much as I’d love for the whole world to be nakama, there’s just so much One Piece, it’s hard for the average person to dedicate that much time to a series. This is a well placed olive branch for the uninitiated. Again, many thanks!
I believe that the treasure Joyboy left behind is just the tale of his life, the tale of Joyboy, which made Roger laughed so he named the island Laughtale and that's why he also wished to live in Joyboy's era because he read what it was like. Now, the treasure "the tale of joyboy" is called "one piece" by the people, so basically they gave the story a title. The series we're reading is called "one piece", the story is about Luffy, the current joyboy, so techincally the series is still "the tale of joyboy" just season 2.

That can't be true. Because oda has confirmed in an interview that the one piece is a physical object not just some "it was the friends me made along the way" type of bs.
@shshsbxhhahas2459

I'm not sure that a book or some story would be that physical object and it would obviously get tons of backlash. It also doesn't explain a lot of stuff like the egg on Rogers ship

“Those who consumed devil fruits become completely prone when submerged in water”… completely prone to what? Prone to drowning?
@bryceboccio305

no prone as in laying completely still, they cannot move and are physically stuck when they are submerged in water. Basically feeling like they're cemented in their bodies.
Such a good recap! Awesome vid! The other day I was telling to my uncle (that has my age) that One Piece is not a story of Pirates only, is a story about mysteries, dethroning dictators, freeing people, unveiling ancient history, samurais, santoryu and enjoying the journey. So I told him to give it a chance, that when he is more immersed in the story he will wish it had more chapters. I'm happy to be part of this generation that is enjoying one of the best stories ever told.
One Piece is such a treasure, there’s so much to love about this and while it has faults, it just becomes so minuscule when you’re reminded about everything that happens in this series

Thanks a lot for a updated version of this and right before the Final Saga really gets ramping up with all kinds of the best lore, fights and pure OP greatness
When you think about it, it just makes sense that the series is as long as it is. We're literally following the journey of a nameless kid who's becoming the most important figure on the planet And he's even achieving his goals quite quickly, as it took him only 19 years to become an emperor, barely more than half the time compared the previous youngest emperor shanks at 37 (pre ts) Go rubber boi !!!
@ZelioGames

In canon time it took Luffy 2 years after becoming a pirate to become an emperor which is ridiculous compared to other emperors when you think about it.

But can we give a round of applause to Liam for being the first one piece KZreadr to break the 1 million mark 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much for practily summing up the last 20 years of my life with one piece in only 17 mins. It puts it in prospective what all we watched over the decades and it is also a great primer for anyone that always wanted to get into one piece but said it's simply too long to try now. I have a few friends that I forced to watch your video who said that very thing and it made them start reading the Manga post Wano now.

I think it's insane that this has been going on for 20 years and he's still only has three of the four 😂 I'm all for taking your time telling stories and it being about the journey and the character growth, but I feel like he just dragged this out because it became so successful LMAO
I probably know everything about One Piece at least everything revealed and yet, I'm still going to watch this video. Keep up the great work!
This video deserves at least 1M views! Well done Liam, didn't think a 15 min recap was even possible!
The way you structured the entire thing for 15mins, was lovely.

This is a masterpiece of prose. If I watched this video without knowing One Piece, I would understand perfectly what was going on.
This is the exact video I was hoping would happen. A complete highlight series to date. Great video!
Love the video and keep up the great work
I have an observation about Conqueror's Haki. Like many, I believed it was an ability that one must be born with, but when Zoro was fighting fighting King and he accidentally uses Conqueror's Haki to knockout some random's, King notices, looks at Zoro and asks "So, you too want to be a king?". Later Zoro said something about becoming the King of Hell or whatever, which makes me think of Rayleigh's title that almost everyone calls him by: The King of Darkness. Maybe he got a realization moment during his journey, much like Zoro, that he had to be a King as well. I think that Conqueror's Haki is something that one can develop if they really have the real intent to be the best at something. After all, the Pirate King is just a Pirate that is better than the others.
such a life changing video to see how far we've become
wow i love that you took this timeline of events instead of going arc by arc. thanks a lot man this is quality
The greatest story ever! Thank you for helping me about a year ago get into this series, I have not regretted it, big fan from England 👍👍
This script is insanely tight and precise. Great job, keeping it natural and making sense is really difficult.

Best vedio and made my day reliving every chapter of onepiece almost
Great job 🙌🏽
Cool!! Thanks man, that was great!
Awesome recap and I love how you put Yamato in with the crew because I do consider Yamato a crew member they are just protecting Wano for Luffy
THANK YOU SO MUCH. I NEED TO SHOW THIS TO MY FRIEND
12:32 Whoever drew that derpy articuno pheonix marco, Thank you! That's the kind of energy I need.
Unbelievably you have given me the strength to watch all episodes one piece has to offer. Good luck to me,
man, you are hilarious. i love your vids
I cant even imagine the amount of effort that went into condensing all of One piece in a span of 15 minutes. Even though I one piece has an unforgettable story to me so I personally don't think I'll forget it but this is good for people who wanna catchup fast or need a reminder etc.
Brook smashing that building was pretty funny.
And to think this whole anime starts with a dude waking up in a barrel
one of the funnest things about your videos is still all the varied artwork you use to tell the story
Great video
The concept of the Dawn of the World is so captivating to me and I think that’s emphasized really well in this video.
bless you pirate obsessed Aussie. Between the charity and your (typically) unbiased analysis of this wacky story, you rekindled my love of stories of never losing hope during the time I needed it most. Cheers!
Nice video, really easy to follow and fun to listen to! 😃 There's only one flaw I think, and that's the lack of Robin/Ohara... I think that Robin's role (the only or one of the few that can read the poneglyphs), and the fact that the Government is really focussed on hiding what happened on the 100 years gap, was really worth mentioning
I laugh when people call out one piece for it's length when the length of the journey is one of it's biggest strength The latest reveals wouldn't have hit as much if it wasn't for the years of build up, and the one piece reveal will prove that even more
thank you for making this cuz im not dropping a year of my life to catch up
well done, this is such a smooth synopsis.
Good recap! A bit surprised after you mentioned had them at the start, you didn't bring up the discovery of two ancient weapons in Luffys timeline
This was awesome! One piece is the greatest story ever told!
This is my far THE best review and summary of an manga/anime i have ever seen xD this includes and is not limited to: the art, the jokes, the manga and our most favourite austrian person
Amazing explanation , I'm going to use this whenever I convince people to read one of the best story's ever created
Love that Ohara and GrandLineReview are making these
where did you get that framed luffy poster at the back?
What a mad lad, making this video that'll probably be recontextualized by the end of the year.
