Surprisingly there has no “friend turn to bad guy” character yet in One Piece, and will probably never happen in One Piece at this point. Like there are some characters who were secretly evil from the beginning but no good guys who became bad guys.

Has so much more dark and political stuff behind the "One Piece treasure" than meets the eye, almost all the openings just shows the fun and cute parts of the show.. its really way more complex, that's why the world is so big and they and nobody else find out it yet.

thats what i love..the ops used to not show much...they were vague on purpose....mostly showing the ship and crew hanging out...to trick people...you would see the op and think its boring and miss out

@@b6-xBear Look, meditating is when you sit down and just concentrate on your breath and empty your mind, in the fight against Katakuri I don't consider that to meditate, there Luffy just concentrates to the maximum, he couldn't empty his mind in the middle of the fight, he was totally focused on the haki to see Katakuri's attacks. In training with Rayleigh he was learning to concentrate to predict his opponent's attacks. The observation haki is very attached to maintaining his concentration, so much so that when Katakuri is not concentrated, Luffy hits him, but when he regains his concentration, he sees the future again. Sorry for the big text I wrote 😅

Keep in mind that One Piece anime started in October 1999. Definitely a different time. It's crazy that the anime has been going for about 22 years and there's still no end in sight for the anime. July 1997 is when the One Piece manga originally started and it too has no end. It's currently at chapter 1005.

its a shame some people see the designs the old art style and read the basic plot and choose not to watch it cause it does not interest them..they are missing out on the best anime ever made.....its not about the plot..that just frames the story...the designs are intentionally out there and unique to push the limits of what we accept and can feel for in cartoon form and if oda can make us care which he always manages to do..the art style is on purpose...one piece is not about treasure...or being pirate king...its about freedom nakama and earning the title of the hardest thing to do in their world...its about opression and racism..it can be about anything at any point...its the most versatile unique show ever made....

As always, despite being the coolest character, nobody talks about me. Is it because i'm too fast ? Anyway, the biggest mistake you can make here is stopping to appearance, because in One Piece, appearance means absolutely nothing, there really isn't "bad guys" in One Piece, there is definitely people you would consider evil but at the end of the day, it's all about perspective, depending on your own values and experience, you will side with different characters based on what they do and why they do it. Because Oda really takes the time to develop every single character, there is nobody in one piece who doesn't have a background and backstory to motivate his actions. To quote one of the best lines from one of the best characters ever: "Justice will prevail? Of course it will!!! Because the winners will become the justice!!!" (Not gonna lie it kinda made me mad when they said Ace is bad because of his chains and tatoos) But i really hope you will give a try at this journey because it is the best journey you could find.

One thing about One Piece that makes it a huge success is its World Building. Every character becomes relevant to a degree and become memorable, also a look that unmistakable. Oda truly knows how to build up the world and the characters that exist in it.

Lol, I guess it safe to say that the spoilers in openings 12-14 all just slipped pass both of y’all which is a good thing. My only advice if you ever decide on catching up into this is, "Dont rush it."

Not sure if anyone mentioned that, but Luffy is rubber that's why he stretches ( he ate the gum gum devil fruit). Devil fruits give people abilities, but once they eat them, they can no longer swim or they sink like rocks.

One Piece is the absolute best anime/Manga series of all time and yes it's the only anime i ever cried watching and will always be proud of it Edit: One Piece may look like a typical anime but it is as unique as it can be and Opening 14 is the last opening one of the greater characters and also my favourite was shown in an opening

I hope at least one of you started watching it. This anime took me a year to get through, but the things they go through. Their individual story's are wonderful. It was hard to start, but well worth the feels. Ohara does great vids you might like. First time watching you guys. Keep it up!

It is an amazing story and one of my all time fav anime series and DEFINITELY worth the watch. Amazing world building the best I’ve ever seen

i think the best way to describe the story is luffy is trying to find a crew that shares his risk taking ventures in search really for freedom to pursue dreams without judgment and is at the same time going to change his world around him which is corrupt and finds people who are not only trust worthy and able to help him but also have their own dreams mentors and reasons to fix the world and leave it better than when they came into it...the one piece stuff is just dressing imo...titles to give the story a starting point...the show is about these pirates making the world better by doing stuff for people in need and making mentors' proud mentors that taught them well..thats what they do in a nutshell...we meanwhile get to lean info about this universe through clues and mysteries hints and reveals which is the best part..worldbuilding...its the king of that...and luffy does something to free each of his teamates from the constraints of their life to join him...thats key too..

hello,i just wanna say to you two that,im glad and happy to see you guys enjoy seeing these openings and i hope that you will understand what some of them means when you start your journey of watching one piece😁

Me - a fan who has watched One Piece since 2014 or so and watch from 1 to what was the current arc at the time with my mom, then again with my BF. Trying to lay in bed quietly and sleep. The video - “Oh I heard Sanji is a simp from the fans!” Me now trying to not wake the BF - “You mean the KING OF ALL SIMPS!” XD but yeah, I think another youtuber did a simp list and Sanji was #1. Anyway, I always love watching the openings! You get to see the artstyle slowly evolve in the animation, and honestly when it becomes more noticeable is when they start the more action packed openings, or when they start a more ‘serious’ toned arc for the series as a whole. I would definitely recommend watching ‘The Appeal of One Piece’, as even with some minor spoilers in it, it gives such a wonderful explanation of why the series is such a success

Oh right, if you didn’t catch it - Opening 7 is actually opening 1, but with the voice actors of the straw hat crew singing it! 10 is a remix of the same song for one of the anniversaries!

Series about pirates, where the main characters are also pirates. *Person in chains* "Must be a bad guy" _...might_ need to think that one through again :P But yeah, with One Piece, it's easy to assume a lot of characters are antagonistic, even when they are not. Happens in like... 2/3 of these reaction videos! Definitely a "don't judge a book by its cover" series.

If you want a emotional rollercoaster of an legendary adventure, then you will love this series x3.

This was dope to see. In my humble opinion my favorite 2021 anime out right now is Jujutsu kaisen, ONE PIECE (my favorite) and AOT I’m sure there’s a lot of good other ones too, but that’s what I’ve currently been watching.
