They put so much emotion into One Piece but sometimes you just forget it because of cheeriness of Luffy. Luffy makes the crew cheerful and that hits hard the more I think about it.

*Yes.* That’s what I believe makes him such an endearing person. He seems selfish and he is when it comes to his friends, but he truly cares about them. Despite his uh, lack of brains, he sees through their front and helps them, even if they don’t want it. He treats them as equals, similar to Whitebeard, so that’s why they love him so much.

poor Sanji, one suffering after another. how is he still so cheerful and loving despite the harshness that world has dealt him. he is my favorite character of One Piece.

Great used song for their sad history and struggles... Brook's part made me cry the most... 50 years alone, surrounded by bodies of his dead friends. I don't wonder why he treats Luffy with so high respect :)

Artemo he isn’t immortal he just had been “revived” meaning he lives as long as he should be when he was a human and he spent 50 of those years being alone 😭

This is why Luffy is my favorite character, cuz when I think of most of the strawhats and how much pain they went through until they met luffy it hurts, Robin running and hiding alone , chopper all alone ,nami struggling ,brook in the lonely darkness and Sanji crying in his cell 😢 until a boy with a strawhat gave them happiness they longed for and when I think of how guilty they felt about Marineford it pains me , I love how luffy changes the world instead of being changed by it even if some people just see him as a flat and underdeveloped character

Ussop was left and had to suffer losing his own kind mother. He lied and his habit of lying is what it is. Because it kept the harsh loneliness he had inside away. Till the crew, luffy arrived. Seems honestly everyone of the straw hats one way or another. Have a reason and strong ones to call it a home.

also this Song fits the story of the Crew perfectly the story of Luffy and how he saved every member of his crew and gave them a home^^

Its pretty ironic that luffy was the one to bring together all the crew. Luffy had a good past, with good memories and a good family. While the rest of the crew had sad and tragic pasts. But then, it was luffy's turn to experience sadness with Ace's death.

i wouldn't call Luffys past good, he lost Sabo (yes we know he's alive now but for Luffy he had died). He did have Ace which made it all better, but ppl forget that just bc Luffy is cheerful and leaves sad things behind him doesn't mean he didn't also go through a lot of shit yknow. He was pretty much abandoned by his entire family and all the things Ace, Sabo and Luffy went through in their year or so together were pretty horrifying too if u ask me

Luffy had a sad past. He blamed himself for what happened to Shanks.. then he lost Sabo.. all of this time.. he thought it was because he was weak.

I like this. It kinda shows how far Luffy would go for his crew and how he took his time to save each and every one of them. How he stayed by them, even if they betrayed him, or stopped believing. How he believed when they couldn't anymore. How he gives them hope, love, faith. It's so wonderful how good a captain Luffy is and can be. How his name should be feared by many but adored by others. He's just Luffy. And you know what? It's just so...lovely.

You need more subs. That Brook sequence was tough to handle

Brook's part just made me tear up-

He was there to save everyone in their darkest times, but no-one could be there when he needed them the most. Zoro was the one who was hurt the most.

This just might be the most beautiful One Piece AMV I have ever seen, hands down! The Straw Hats were brought together, through pain, tragedy, and fate. More importantly, they became an honest-to-God family, and it's all because of a dumb, rubbery pirate, with big dreams and a big heart! What I'm saying, is that you captured that perfectly!

Amazing job! Wonderfully orchestrated AMV! All those clips tyed together makes it really hit at the heart. It just makes one love Luffy more. His character simply accepts his nakama, sees their pain, pushes them to be the best parts of themselves (that he sees in them) and says let's move forward and live free together. What a great home that is! One Piece forever ❤
