One Piece - Dollhouse

Фильм және анимация

I still can't believe how many views this got, thank you guys you're awesome!
I'm on a One Piece AMV kick lately haha. This amv is basically about people and places that look happy and peaceful on the outside, but are hiding something much darker underneath. That seems to be a big theme in One Piece, especially with the World Nobles, Goa Kingdom, Flevance, and Dressrosa.
Anyways, hope you enjoy!
Please do not use footage from my amvs to make an amv on your channel, and please do not re-upload my amv anywhere. If you want to share it but you're not sure if I'm okay with the method please ask me. I don't bite, and I appreciate when people ask first, even if I still ultimately say no. Thank you for your consideration.

I remember one time that I read a post that said One Piece was catered to kids because of Chopper. I at first thought it was sorta true since at that time I never really watched One Piece or knew much about it. But after watching and reading it.....they couldn't have been more wrong. One Piece is one of the few great and popular animes that deal with real world issues and isn't afraid to bring them up in the show. To list a few: Racism = The treatment of the fish people is no different than what minorities faced against racism (and still are) Slavery = The auction house where various exotic people were being sold as slaves, no different from past slave auctions throughout history Government Corruption = The cover-up of Law, Robin, and Sabo's incidents in order to hide the government's evil deeds reflect how governments in our world try to cover-up incidents or quiet down the masses (such as mass killing of college students to silence protests) Poverty = Right outside of Sabo's home was a wasteland of garbage and full of crime and unfortunately, this is the case for some countries (if not, most) who appear to be perfect and well-off, but have people dying on the streets The Rich Man's Abusive Nature = Throughout the show, we see just how disgusting these characters are who simply drown in money and have no regard for human life, this is the same irl in which (bad) rich people could care less about those below them Greed and Power Hunger = The Celestial Dragons in OP can never get enough of power and many evil characters can never have their greed be satisfied, leading to the demise of many and is something that also happens in our world and people The Concept of Justice Corrupted = Admiral Akainu and the Gorosei often use the excuse of bringing down 'justice' as a means to an end that satisfies their goals and needs; something that we tend to do often (ex. justifying actions that weren't based on true justice) These issues and more are so perfectly portrayed in One Piece. The reality of their world being so twisted like ours, in a way, helps us understand and relate to the characters suffering under these issues even more than we usually would. I know that when I watched that slave auction house episode and any scenes with the Celestial Dragons, it was truly heartbreaking and disgusting to watch. One Piece is definitely not something for young kids to watch unless you want them emotionally traumatized. Nevertheless, it is still one of the most respected and amazing shows out there. Thank you Oda for continuing to write this masterpiece.

One thing I'd also like to highlight here. Just like the Void Century, recently a discovery was made in the small town of Sinauli in India. Just like the people of the Void Century, these people of Sinauli were too advanced if compared to other civilization of their times, relatively of course, yet they somehow met their demise. Now existence of such a civilization was covered up by only one historical lie, that THERE WERE NO NATIVE HORSES IN INDIA AT THAT TIME. And the discovery was identification of highly advanced chariot itself. This has now become one of the proof for the facts of great war that took place in the subcontinent that was stated in one of our ancient text, which until now was only considered as a holy book.

There is another point of view. Usopp criticized luffy to be strong and not caring for the weak in the group and says he has always been strong. However that's not the truth. See, a lot of people complain that one piece gets sidetracked and has arcs or flashbacks that are way to long, but I don’t think people understand that the story is not just about luffy, it’s also about the world of one piece itself and all the amazing/barbaric things that exist in it, I feel Oda is trying to get the message across that at times our own world can be this way and how we need to be like luffy as much as we can and do what we can to fix it in those times where our country or even our world is suffering, so if your going to watch one piece this video is a great way to show what’s the main focus besides our favorite meat loving protagonist, this is why one piece is so long, it should end in about 5 years oda said ( however he’s never exactly been spot on with these predictions 😅) either way the end is near, but part of the reason I believe it’s always a couple more years then his prediction every time is because oda once said, “If I were able to put everything I wanted to in one piece it would NEVER end” so naturally the story of life and the ways of the the world from the past to the present and even to the future presented in a way of fantasy and wonder with super natural powers, is not something easy to do in only 25 years if that, I highly respect and love one piece, if your a fan you know exactly what i mean if your new to one piece, please give it a chance, with a little over 900 episodes and nearly 1000 chapters still going it’s a long journey, but I promise you won’t regret it 😁❤️🏴‍☠️

I love how this doesn't JUST show off the dark parts, but the way that the set up of One Pieces world actively works to cover up the less pleasant parts of itself. I dont even just mean the World Governments cover ups, but the way no civilians really talk about the parts of the world that are less than perfect aside from what applies to them - whole islands and everything on them have been destroyed, theres no way nobody remembers that they used to exist, but they all go along with it bc the World Government said it must be so. What about the slavery? Why is it so unknown that fishman blood is perfectly transferable with human blood? There's so much wrong with the world directly tied to inaction, to people generally being ok with the facade they're presented. Even the art style is better suited for comedy yet the details dont seem out of place when it gets gritty when, say, Camie is thrashing trying to get away from the slave collar, or the detail of the nobles decadence in contrast with the nightmares they're causing, or even the sweetness of scenes like Koala with th fishmen has so much more effort put into it than the cartoony style seems it would work with, but it comes together beautifully. 3 different styles of contrast to the usual humorous use of the art style, all working from different angles to show how much of the perfection seen is only skin-deep God I love this show

What I love about one piece is that it adresses these issues that still happen in real life, most we already heard about but never actually experienced. We come to understand how serious and cruel these issues really are after seeing the stories first hand through the characters of one piece. Characters such as Hancock & Camie with slavery, Law & Robin with government corruption, Rebecca & Nami & Momo with occupied countries, Fisher Tiger and Jimbe with discrimination, Vivi & Violet with abuse of power, Sanji & Yamato with greed and power hunger...it's amazing how Oda can portray all of this and will still continue to share even more frightening and realistic issues. By far the greatest anime to ever exist.

Brook's, Law's, Robin's and Doffy's pasts all had me crying. Senior Pink's also had me pretty sad. But for some reason, Ace or Whitebeatd's death had no emotional effect on me. I feel like Ace's death was just for character development for Luffy and Whitebeard's was just to confirm the One Piece was real. However I can understand why'd people say they were sad over them, it's probably just me being weird tbh

"Everyone thinks that we're perfect" Damn I have only seen half of One Piece, and not to mention a few of the movies, but god damn this line resonates so much!! One prime example would be the infamous 4kids version. They censored it so much that as kids, we never considered how dark it was, and then when we watched the original, (no censors) it shook us to the core. We never considered the deep messages this show has. We always thought "Oh! This is such a fun, wholesome thing!!" BUT NOOOO!!! It just had to do this...

Insanely good, perfectly done AMV. This should be in the hundreds of thousands of views, not purely about action, but about a side, and all about a side you rarely see in AMV's. Perfect.

This AMV really shows the dark side in One Piece... It's just so easy to get distraced by Luffy's cheerfulness, you simply forget or rather chose to ignore the unpleasant things happening.. Really good job, thumbs up!

It is one of the best arcs I have seen really!!!! From Rebecca coming to Colosseum to revealing of soldier San everything was great!!!! Gear was a bomb.......Dressrosa dark side was also so brutal that it makes heart broke that they were toys for a decade and there loved ones forgot about them 😭and the torture they faced...... Then God usopp was also good....

People think that one piece is just this action packed anime and some baddass dudes fighting powerfull opponents But One Piece reflects the problems thats happening in real world ,slavery or human trafficking, racism, corruption, greed for power, trying to kill each other for resources or land wealth .
