The first opening gets repeated due to how iconic it is to the series. There's the original, version sung by the crew, remix, updated visual variant.

For those wondering why some characters have color changed. Due to copyright and other elements they often change aspects of the visuals in order to not get picked up on by specific indicators. Also you are missing one as there is another version of we are set near the end.

its funny due to dim blue lighting and video opation.. zoro's hair looks black instead a green..

Something you should keep in mind is that this anime started back in 1999, at that time hd was'nt even really a thing yet of curse it won't have the same things a modern opening would have now. I think it's neat to see the show evolve as you go through each opening, the early animation is still really good and holds up well in my opinion.

I guess I'm a little late but I'll add my two cents. my childhood, adolescence, until adulthood, I could not express in words everything this anime means to me, it is a unique experience, I remember that the first time I saw it I never imagined that I would cry so much with this anime, as there is so many crazy, fun and bizarre things I never thought I could cry with this anime, but ufff, when you delve into the background of the characters, you can see that they dedicated a lot of time to deepening their lives and I still haven't gotten past the opening 15 I always cry with it . Anyway, good video and reaction, I like to see how others get excited about these beautiful openings. In my opinion, there is no bad one, although you may like some more than others.

The one where you were asking "what was up with this one" at 16:31 is the cast singing the opening. Luffy, Chopper, Nami, etc. The opening where you were liking the gold and the outfits was doing two things: promoting the One Piece Gold movie and the i believe the 15th or 25th anniversary of one piece itself. 52:07 that was my reaction too when she got introduced.

Its interesting that you mention the "One Piece" logo being shown in different ways as, without spoiling, some of the ways its shown is using some of the characters powers to pop them up or ad flare to the logo itself

It breezes by so fast and this is what I tell newcomer's scared of the length. Start an episode 1 and then before you know it your 200 episodes deep in a week.

you should react to the opening for Dorohedoro and all the JoJo's Bizarre Adventure openings, jojos likes to take their openings and make multiple alternate versions sometimes that have nice surprises in them, we (as in jjba fans) love seeing peoples reactions to those

Definitely.

The only way you'll recognize the symbolism of op 25 and why half of it is in that circle is if you watch the anime, Or else it's nearly impossible to explain it to you haha. But one main thing about that opening and why it's probably my favourite opening is the use of that circle throughout the ENTIRE opening. If you watch the opening again you'll notice that most of the shots revolve around that exact circle and the exact size which is pretty creative

Oh I really do! I just finished episode 53 on my Patreon and im so invested! And I love how characters can come back. Just had the face off with Luffy, Buggy, Alvida and Captain Smoker. I cried when Sanji left the Baratie, I cried when Bellemere died. I love this show 🤣

The german opening "Die Legende" is very iconic and beloved around us german speakers. KZread also has a full version. "We are" also got a german version and despite the fact that this is the actual first opening "Die Legende" just fits, because One Piece is a legend itself and the Opening is about that.

Even some opening have spoilers, but One Piece isn't the type of anime that you'll know the point of the story just only watching the openings, you must watch the whole episodes to understand the story, and the author usually put some detail for the new story

It's called "Us!" and is sung by Hiroshi Kitadani, the same guy who did Openings 1, 15, and 22. he also collaborated on Opening 19.

And I am up to Episode 60 so I have a looong way to go. Honestly im enjoying the ride and watching these Openings are like trailers for me 🤣 window shopping for Anime haha. The operator thing is so bizarre to me. If we had a canon crew with banter and personality, they could sell us skins for those characters, so surely that can't be the reason for them not bringing back a crew back. I think in Cold War, it was just a lack of time and possibly budget for Zombies(due to BO4's reception and having to rush CW). In Vanguard, it was another rushed Zombies, and it wasn't Treyarch's game(Activision also seemed to write the game off before it even launched). MWIII is once again not Treyarch's game, and it's also very MW, and MW loves operators.
