Is it just me or did the older shows take their time to create the best memorable theme songs they could, for ex, moesha, the parkers, a different world, martin, jamie foxx show, and i could go on. But we knew ALL THE WORDS to all of those show intros didn't we. Nowadays great theme songs are like disreguarded -__- Tv just isn't like it use to be.

They did! :(. The name is actually at the top left at the beginning of the video, in the UK it was called "Trouble". They played ALL of those old school shows, predominantly black sitcoms. But they removed the channel due to "low ratings", like who wasn't watching it? Ugh I hate it !

This show was my preteen and teenage years! I remember watching this show on UPN when it first aired and continued to watch it on "The N" for the very last season. One on One was the greatest shows of the early 2000's, I wish they could sell the series on DVD, I would buy the whole series in a heartbeat like no joke.

IMO this was a very underrated show. I alwayz liked the series storyline of a elgible bachelor celebrity sportcaster, who suddenly becomes a full-time dad when his ex-wife decides to accept a job out of the country and his teenage daughter moves in with him and he raises her from high school up into college with some bumps along the way. I wish they wouldve gave them one more season I wanted to see what would become of Bre and D-Mack. I still have a major infactuation with Kayla Pratt and I alwayz will. Thats that shawty.

Me too,TV d'on changed in 2006, it went bad.This show use to come on Monday nights 8-8:30 PM on UPN, after the show ended UPN became CW.Seasons 1-4 I was in high school 9th-12th grade when Sicily & Kelly Perin waqs on the show,after I graduated high school,Ray J & Kel Mitchell joined the show on it's series 5th & final season,their only season on the show.

I will always love One on One, esp since it came out back when I was living with my dad and me and my dad had a bond just like Flex and Breanna, I was like wow finally a show I can relate to about a young black woman who lives with and loves her dad, my dating and school life was just like Breanna's too🔥

One of the best theme songs,that bassline is kicking ass!!

So many memories dang times flies by. #UPN

> i agree with you,, tho it was cool seeing Kel Mitchell after many years,, however that season was wack,, not cause they were in Cali,, but cause most the cast was gone,, member Flex was the main character and he was in only 4 episodes of season 5,, then Dwayne was out,, and in the spinoff show Cuts,, we never heard of Dwayne again,, sooo what happened with him and Candy,, they took out Spirit to replace with two airheads,, why..?? and D-Mac was here but whatever happened to Miles (just kidding,Moesha),, they had an episode where they couldnt go back to Baltimore,, they could have brought Spirit, Flex, and Dwayne all back for that episode,, also in season 4,, i wanted Flex and Tanya to work out his time,, not him and his therapist,, i didnt like how season 4 ended,, but still was lot better than the crap on season 5,, tv shows need to realize stop making so many changes,, thats why Moesha got cancelled in cliff hanger, the same with New York UnderCover, and OneOnOne..

My thoughts exactly the show was called one on one because it was about a father and his daughter living together not female living with 5 different people if that was the case it should have been about arnez and breanna journey breaking up and in the end getting back together. Just loved this show growing up shame it's not shown here on in the UK. The theme song was written and sung by flex and his wife shanice (I love your Smile). This was black Young comedy at its best along side the Steve Harvey show, moesha, the parkers etc... I could go one seriously we need more black comedy tv series back on tv.

I grew up with this joint, man lol. The 90's and early 2000s were truly the golden age of black television. Nothing has been able to filled that void since. Everybody Hates Chris was the last great black sitcom. The few black shows we got today are not competing with the classics.

I'm a huge fan of Tonex, even moreso in recent years, but I always thought this was sang by Shanice and Brian McKnight. Tonex is soooo versatile! I can obviously recognize the tone that he used here now that I know it's him.. but wow he absolutely killed this.

the last season was basically a failed spinoff, One on One truly ended in season 4

Now back in the day one on one was my favorite TV show just like Martin with Martin Lawrence and Tisha Campbell which Tisha Campbell was also from My Wife and Kids now that show was awesome any other show that I like back in the day was The Steve Harvey Show with Steve Harvey and Cedric the Entertainer Living Single The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air a different world Flex Alexander Kyla Pratt and Kelly perine they are my favorite actors from Living Single TC Carson and Queen Latifah also my favorite actors Plus I even got a chance to meet TC Carson in person when he came to my school last month

This give me so much nostalgia. I wish they would have finished it :(
