Haha I remember they started reairing In Living Color in the late 90s or early 2000s and I got it mixed up with Living Single. I told my mom we use to watch that (Thinking living single)...But it was in living color and she was like "I HAVE NEVER LET YALL WATCH THAT" lol.

As a kid, I never paid attention to the theme song. I just thought it had lyrics to a dope beat. Yeah it's a very dope beat but these lyrics are very impactful. This has to be the best theme song ever.

The orchestral stabs in this song always give me chills.

He was great as Dr Robotnik. He's still got some talent left in him. He's retiring from movies though. Probably rich AF. He was getting top dollar in the 90s.

IMO In Living Color is one of the best Sketch comedy shows of not only the 90s but still today, I never really was a Saturday Night Live fan, In living Color was my show. I loved how this series strove to produce comedy with a strong emphasis on modern black subject matter. It also helped launch the careers of previously unknown actor/comedians who would elevate to A-B list stars such as Jim Carrey, oscar winner Jamie Foxx, Damon Wayans, David Alan Grier, Tommy Davidson, grammy winner Jennifer Lopez. The series won the Emmy for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series in 1990. My fav characters from In Living Color is Fire Marshal Bill Burns, Homey D. Clown, and Carl "The Tooth" Williams they ewere absolutely hilarious.

This was THE baddest ass show on TV!!!! They had SO MUCH talent going for them!!! In Living Color rocked the house time and time again!!!! I'll tell you what ... TV shows today can't hold a candle to the bright sun that was IN LIVING COLOR.

Big thank you to my parents for turning me onto this show growing up. I’m sitting here in tears. I wish I was alive when this was on the air. It made so many stars: The Wayans family, Jim Carrey, Kim Coles, David Alan Grier, Tommy Davidson, T’Keyah Crystal Keymah, Kelly Coffield, Jamie Foxx, Carrie Ann Inaba, Jennifer Lopez, and many other great stars. Uncle Heavy these lyrics have inspired me since day 1…I will play this for my children 💫💫💫 both versions are very deep and still relevant

It’s insane to think of all the big names that stared on this show: The Wayans Brothers, Jim Carry, Jamie Foxx, JLo, Tommy Davidson, DAG (David Allen Grier). Wow!

I liked the sequence that ended with a segue to a set built to resemble the rooftop of an apartment building, where the series' dancers performance a routine and opened a door let Keenen Ivory Wayans greet a live audience, in the first two seasons (1990-1991).

I use to get so hyped when this theme song came on! My childhood was GREAT!!

So I'm a 2000 baby and my step dad at the time had like all the seasons on CD and I would watch these episodes when I was like 4 😅😂 this brings back some memories lol

I remember how cool it was watching this on Sunday nights along with Get a Life and Married with Children
