Moesha was the bomb! UPN mismanaged the show at the end because of UPN network exec Dean Valentine cancelled because he thought the show had low ratings and he wanted more money once CBS bought out UPN in 2001. The show should have stayed on the air for two seasons.

@@notthefather3919 Yep! The show fell off big time after Kim left and they brought in Ray J and ruined Frank's character. Losing Andell and Dee were huge blows, especially Dee who was the mother figure of the show and it lost alot of heart and soul when she left too.

Yeah, but the show was still a hit and lasted 6 seasons. Brandy herself was ready to move on as well. That narrative ( that keeps popping up which means it was sent by think tanks) about it pushing up stereotypes doesn’t mean there wasn’t truth in it.

Lost momentum because Brandy herself was ready to move on. Adding Ray J didn’t hurt the show as much as that narrative keeps implying. The Show was a hit and lasted 6 seasons.

Season 3- 4 theme song is the best on my opinion it's the beat and the bass with it too. If she made this as a full song and released it this would have been a fire song. I wish I could talk to brandy n ask her to do this because I cant be the only fan of hers to think this thanks for the lyrics

I feel like as the show went on, the theme songs got better, but the show kind of got way more serious. The first season is actually like a kids show. It’s also the most nostalgic, obviously.

Moesha, Clarissa, and Blossom were like the 3 goddesses of 90s teen girl fashion. If you ever forget what it was like to be a girl in the 90s, just watch the opening credits for those 3 shows.
