I purchased the Ford truck in this video ( I checked the vin you see the vin at 7:07 time mark.). I have put a 1000 miles on this truck. I drove it from Pueblo to Denver with adaptive cruse control on. I never had to touch the brake or gas. I drove it in our first snow storm of 2020! I had not problems in the snow. My wife and dog love to ride in it. Her 80+ year old parents had no difficulty getting in and out of the back seat. It is peppy for a 4 banger and scoots around town fine. I did a lot of research be for I decided to buy the Ford. We can not wait till we can get it to Moab and canyon lands. I was going to wait and buy the new Bronco until I learned it is based off the Ranger platform. I did not pay full price mentioned video. Brighton Ford was very easy to work with and Ill say it was the fastest purchase of an Auto I ever made.

I just purchased the 2021 ranger Lariat Tremor with the spray-in bed liner and paid $49k here in socal. I got mine in cactus grey. I was disappointed that the tailgate came without a damper but it's a $50 part that you can install in about 15 minutes. Still, it should be included in the Lariat trim at least. Driving it is sweet. Plenty of power and gas mileage is decent for what you are getting. I keep reading complaints that the interior is dated. Well I personally like it, everything is well layed out and in easy reach. It's certainly the most luxurious cabin I've ever been in. The adaptive cruise control is how it should have worked in the beginning lol. Like the previous poster said, you never have to touch the gas or brake. I've only done a bit of off-road driving and I had no issues and never got stuck. Since I'm a contractor towing and payload capacity were important to me and again the truck didn't disappoint. All in all I am very pleased with it. I guess what stands out most to me is that the truck is much more nimble around the city, easier to park and turns tighter than my previous f-150, Ram 1500 or Silverado. It's also cozier inside and I can actually reach over and open the passenger door for my girl whereas I couldn't on the full size trucks. I'm not a serious off-roader so if you want to know how it climbs boulders look elsewhere lol. IMHO nothing will ever beat the M151 for off-road capability! Cheers and merry Christmas to everyone.

I paid 45 for it. I have 31000 Miles on it. I have taken it all away to New Orleans, Williamsburg Kentucky, Butte Montana and Zion national Park. I have taken it on 4x4 roads at Moab we did potash road and Schaefer's trail. We also took it out to Willow springs which was the old way into arches national Park. Took it up 10 cup pass here in Colorado. In Montana I took it up to ringing rocks which was a 4x4 trail and you beat on a rocks and they actually ring like their metal. I've been all over the state of Colorado with this truck. It is never been back to the dealer for any warranty work!! On the trip to New Orleans I had four people in the cab and we were all very comfortable.

I bought 2017 Canyon new. The transmission went out at 22,000 miles. I was so disappointed because I really liked the truck up until then. I also have 1995 Ford F-150 with a 6 cylinder and manual trans that I bought new. Still going strong with no major repairs at 107,000 miles. I bought a 2020 Nissan Frontier 2 moths ago. To soon to tell how well that one lasts but I do like how smooth it is compared to the Canyon.

I have a 19 Ranger, 30,000 miles already, love it. Same spec as the one in the vid. I have a Bully Dog and with good fuel and the 103 tune, there's not many trucks on the road that can touch it. I have embarrassed a lot of full sized trucks including Hemi's. It is the perfect sleeper. I have owned most brands of full size trucks and would not trade my Ranger now. Great off road too and great in snow, I'm in Canada so it has already seen one winter. I'm hoping for a Raptor version in the future.

However, I feel like the QC that went into my truck was non-existent, my dealership service experience is awful (3 months for GM to replace the AC compressor in the summer), and the truck squeaks, creaks, whines, moans like it has 218K miles at just 18k miles. I own the Ford right now. $3,000 more, engine is awesome, torque is great but the transmission is not smooth, you feel every shift and it causes a much less desirable driving/riding experience. Best thing about the Ford? The seats are the most comfortable you can get. Worse thing about owning a Ford? If you plan on having it service at a dealership that will be the worst experience of your existence. You've been warned. GMC needs to move their gear shift to the other side of the cup holders, I hit the manual buttons on the side with my leg without realizing it sometimes. GMC is very off-road worthy, I'd say more so than the Ford. Even comes with better off road tires and has a much quieter ride. Don't like the clearance up front on the GMC? Delete the air dam, takes 15 minutes. GMC has a few creature comforts I prefer like, the controls at the back of the steering wheel and the climate controls are so much better than Ford's analog rocker control because lets face it no one uses the climate control on the touch screen.

I own a 2019 Ford Ranger XLT FX4, and agree with the hard shifting issue. I have to disagree with you on the dealership issue. I go to Klaben Ford in Kent, Ohio. These people are the best. My extended family goes there, their neighbors go there as well. I have been dealing with them for almost 2 decades. Honest good people. The owner, Richard Klaben is so nice, he talked to me for about 45 minutes one telling me family stories about his brother in law Dan Marino...yes THAT Dan Marino! I even met Dan Marino at a Pro Football Hall of Fame 5k and told him Richard said hello, and he smiled, told me he said hi, and that he will be over for dinner at Richard's that night. I am a Ford guy, this being my 4th Ranger. The F150 is too big for my needs, so the Ranger is perfect. I went to the auto show locally and sat in all of the competition. I was tempted by the TRD pro and the ZR2, but my dad bought a taco and I didn't like the driver's seat. I eliminated ZR2 based on brand loyalty to be honest, as I have had a few Chevy cars that were recalled too many times for my liking. This Ranger FX4 is almost my dream truck, only if it were a Ranger Raptor (can't stand the look of that Tremor). I plan on one day buying a Scout Yoho and putting it on the back once in a while for camping trips with the wife and dog.

They aren't the greatest in the winter though. They turn into hockey pucks here during Wyoming winters. All-terrain tires will never match a good, proper snow/winter tire in cold temperatures. It's disappointing how large the gap is between a ZR2 and AT4 (or Z71 on The Colorado). I like the tires on the AT4 but not having a selectable rear locker kills it for me.

@Riley Bodnar the Ranger has a selectable locker with is a better choice than the auto G80 locker that the GM uses. I'm not saying the G80 is bad, the stock one in my old 85 K20 Suburban worked without any issues but I would have much preferred a selectable locker to prevent getting into something that a locker would easily get through.

@Riley Bodnar Never heard that but, good way to get some more pull, Ford is supposed to sell a dealer tune and CAI supposed to bump numbers to around 310hp and 365 torque.

Never understood GMC and Chevy's reasoning for those front bumpers with the the low profile diffusers on them. Maybe that's how they manage to get better MPG, by cutting airflow under the truck down. But the amount you lose in regard to approach angle and clearance doesn't justify it.

I don't understand why Ford doesn't off a longer bed configuration option on the crew cab. Both GM trucks and Toyota Tacoma offer that. It was the tipping point for me buying the Colorado. Also most people spend way more time on road then off. How do they compare there?

If you add the FX4 to a XLT you will save more than $3000.00 over the Lariat. I did a quick configuration and XLT with FX4, tow package, power seats and remote start came up to $40,065. Choosing a Canyon AT4 Cloth with tow package and skid plates came out as $38,165. This gives the GMC a slim edge in pricing. I would still lean to the Ford. My last GMC (2006 Envoy) had electrical issues that kicked me out of 4WD twice when I was driving in snow. My current 2006 F150 and prior 1999 Explorer had very few issues. One side note the GMC site shows pictures of the AT4 with the lower lip removed in their off road pictures.

I think it’s a intake, exhaust system replacement as well as the computer modular is updated. I’ve seen videos on it. I think it’s from Hennessy Performance.
