I am always amazed that people with rare conditions have such a great appreciation for life and light in their eyes. You are looking at him and you can't help smiling back with the warmest and sincerest smile, the smile that is on your face but actually comes from the heart.

Sometimes when I'm upset I come back and watch this video with Justin. I love listening to him. He's a proper stoic. People spend their whole lives trying to adopt this philosophy and here he is just living it. I wish I could meet Justin. But I'm glad you helped him make this video, Chris. It's a good day to be awake.

Can I just ask Chris to do an interview with this man again if possible...his words are just what i want to hear all the time..he seems like a great person..i want to be friends with him!

What an authentically cool person! A super funny, semi-dry wit. He doesn’t look like others with progeria I’ve seen, who externally look much older. As an aside, what arrestingly beautiful blue eyes he has! This is probably my favorite interview, and I wish it were longer! Can you follow up with Justin???

There are several different types of progeroid syndromes. Most kids you see on news reports and documentaries have Hutchinson-Gilford progeroid syndrome, this gentleman has Wiedemann-Rautenstrauch syndrome as they mentioned in the video.

His appreciation for life, is perseverance, his strength, is truly amazing, and we should all aim to be just like him. Justin, you are truly the greatest example, thank you for sharing your story, your mindset and your amazing wisdom.

This guy has such good energy, he reminds me of one of my friends, he's the same way, nothing seems to get him down, always calm and relaxed. I wish I could be more like that sometimes. I hope he's still doing well, I really hope he gets the opportunity to drive a car someday.

Justin is an incredible person. Thank you for this interview which has calmed my heart in these difficult days.

I love this guy, I love his outlook on life and I love his love of life. Another thing I love is that he is sort of gangsta. His speech pattern reminds me of Don Corleone :D "You come into my house on the day of my daughters wedding and ask me, what's the first thing you think about in the morning? and I say, good day to be awake!"

What a nice guy, with a good outlook on life. I wish I was half as patient and chilled as he is.

This video and many others on SBSK remind me that living and thinking about the basic things in life is the key to happiness.

damn...here i sit at 353 am, wasting my life away in front of a screen. justifying my lack of accomplishments. and then you have justin, happy to be awake. i dont think i have ever woken up and my first thought was appreciation of being awake. we take so much for granted and we dont even realize.

Every time I see these videos I wish that I could thank the people in the video. It's not easy living with a disability. Sometimes talking about it can bring your mood down. I just really appreciate these people are sharing their stories and struggles with the world, and for teaching us about different disabilities.
