But is his brain still plastic tho? During infancy, the brain experiences a rapid growth in the number of synaptic connections it has, peaking at approximately 15,000 at the age of 2-3 (Gopnik et al. 1999). So would it be too soon to give him a conclusion? Also as EB'S case have shown us our brain is plastic, functions can be taken over by other parts of our brain. So will this kid have a chance if he undergo intense rehabilitation?

Vinnie Gonzalez Actually no. Not even to parents of criminals because it might not even be their fault or responsibility if a person grows up and becomes a criminal. Education is important, but I don't think we should blame parents all the time. A criminal often has a personal responsibility. So, I would never say to any parent that she should have aborted. Not even to Hitler's mother. Abortion is a choice, keeping a baby and love her the way she is, is also a choice, so why do we have to morally judge other people all the time?!

So who's stupid TaunTaun. I really hate stupid people who put false info on to the internet where dummies like you believe it. This kid's parents exploited his disability for their own profit, then proceeded to get divorced and leave him at a care facility where he will remain for the rest of his days constantly drugged and being taken care of by strangers. Lost Hero Bible Verses About Hell Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and Idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone. Matthew 25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment but the righteous into life eternal. Psalm 9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. 2Thessalonians 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the lord, and from the glory of his power. Matthew 13:50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Acts 2:27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy one to see corruption. Mark 9:43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched. Jude 1:7 Even as sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Proverbs15:24 the way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath. Proverbs 23:14 thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell. Matthew 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Matthew 25:41 then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, depart from me, he cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. Revelations 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and then that worshipped his image, these both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. Proverbs 15:11 Hell and destruction are before the Lord How much more then the hearts of the children of men? Are you sure he supports Murder? All murders shall have their part in the lake of fire. ---------------------- Unlawful Sexual Relations Leviticus chapter 18:1-30 The Lord said to Moses, speak to the Israelites and say to them. I am the Lord your God. You must not do as they do in Egypt, where you used to live, and you must not do as they do in the land of canaan, where I am bringing you. Do not follow their practices. You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. I am the Lord your God. Keep my decrees and laws, for the person who obeys them will live by them. I am the Lord. No one is to approach any close relative to have sexual relations. I am the Lord. Do not dishonor your father by having sexual relations with your mother. She is your mother, do not have relations with her. Do not have sexual relations with your father’s wife, that would dishonor your father. Do not have sexual relations with your sister, either your father’s daughter or your mother’s daughter, whether she was born in the same home or elsewhere. Do not have sexual relations with your son’s daughter or your daughter’s daughter, that would dishonor you. Do not have sexual relations with the daughter of your father’s wife, born to your father, she is your sister. Do not have sexual relations with your father’s sister, she is your father’s close relative. Do not have sexual relations with your mother’s sister, because she is your mother’s close relative. Do not dishonor your father’s brother by approaching his wife to have sexual relations, she is your aunt. Do not have sexual relations with your daughter-in-law. She is your son’s wife, do not have relations with her. Do not have sexual relations with your brother’s wife, that would dishonor your brother. Do not have sexual relations with both a woman and her daughter. Do not have sexual relations with either her son’s daughter or her daughter’s daughter, they are her close relatives. That is wickedness. Do not take your wife’s sister as a rival wife and have sexual relations with her while your wife is living. Do not approach a woman to have sexual relations during the uncleanness of her monthly period. Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor’s wife and defile yourself with her. Do not give any of your children to be sacrificed to Molek, for you must not profane the name of your God. I am the Lord. Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman, that is detestable. Do not have sexual relations with an animal and defile yourself with it. A woman must not present herself to an animal to have sexual relations with it, that is a perversion. Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled. Even the land was defiled, so I punished it for its sin, and the land vomited out its inhabitants. But you must keep my decrees and my laws. The native-born and the foreigners residing among you must not do any of these detestable things, for all these things were done by the people who lived in the land before you, and the land became defiled. And if you define the land, it will vomit you out as it vomited out the nations that were before you. Everyone who does any of these detestable things-such persons must be cut off from their people. Keep my requirements and do not follow any of the detestable customs that were practiced before you came and do not defile yourselves with them. I am the Lord your God. Are you sure he supports rape? And same sex? God in the Old Testament, commanded rapist to be stoned to death, as an example of what’s good and what’s bad. Thankful in the New Testament, you can be forgiven for such horrible sins.

@@Carpaintry_of_God Just google the “Jaxon strong foundation”. They used this child as a cash cow. They got hundreds of thousands in donations. They quit their jobs, bought a new house, vehicles, vacations….why are you asking someone to prove this to you? If someone doesn’t put everything written about these parents you’re going to refuse to believe it? Once they were found out, they separated and out him in a nursing home which is where he died. He was lucky if they visited him once a month. They got divorced and Brittany got pregnant pretty quick by another man and “addy” Brandon has had 4 or more DUIs since he dropped his son off at the nursing home. Awesome Christian’s, right?

@@Carpaintry_of_God A "financial crisis" becomes a cash windfall Their initial campaign - intended to cover urgent medical expenses and to allow Brittany to quit her job and remain at home with Jaxon - reached its modest $35K goal almost immediately. They then doubled the goal to $70K and continued to solicit donations. Again the target was met within months, but the Buells refused to shut down the GoFundMe page, citing ongoing financial need...and eventually, when pressured by the public, promising to donate the excess funds to charity. (It was during this time, in March 2015, that they purchased their new-construction home in Tavares.) The final total on the Buells' GoFundMe page the day they closed was more than $176,000. To this day there is no concrete evidence that they have ever donated any money to charity at all, ever. Shortly after the GFM fundraiser ended, news began to circulate that Brandon - who had previously been employed as the assistant manager of a local bank - had also quit his job. Also around this time the Buells started dropping hints on their Facebook page, which by now had accumulated a rabid following of around 378,500, about an upcoming "exciting development!!" On April 27, 2016 the Buells officially announced the creation of the Jaxon Strong Foundation: a so-called charity which they described as "a not-for-profit organization that is ready to receive donations" (their website was initially entirely blank aside from a link to their online donations form). Many people raised questions regarding the Buells' plans for the donated funds, and the legality of the organization itself: there was no sign of a Jaxon Strong Foundation anywhere on the IRS or Florida Department of Consumer Services websites. There were people who judged Jaxon’s parents saying they were irresponsible and cruel for letting the child live with such a serious illness. Instead of clarifying - as one would expect of a legitimate charity - Brandon and Brittany began systematically deleting not only all questions on their Facebook page, but banning the commenters altogether. In light of their increasingly deceptive conduct and realizing that a large-scale scam was potentially in the works, I organized several other individuals into a private, vetted G+ taskforce (since the Buells' followers have a history of harassing and even stalking any outspoken critics). We began investigating the statutory approval of the Foundation and found that the Buells were NOT authorized to solicit charitable donations well past May 16th, and in fact had never even bothered to file the application in the first place until April 28th - the day AFTER they announced that the Foundation was "ready to receive donations" and the day that they (and many of their fans) berated us for questioning the legality of their organization. “For our family, it’s also normal to feed our baby by feeding tube. It’s normal to embrace him as he goes through his startle seizures multiple times a day. It’s normal to look at Jaxon and see a perfectly created boy and other babies truly do look weird and oversized to us,” Brandon said. Dreadful existence. He seized from birth til death. His brain couldnt interpret the stimuli his body was experiencing. Probably sensory overload and EXTREMELY painful. Notice how he panics when in water or receiving alot of touching or hearing loud sounds or bright lights. That's his body saying "my nerves are cranked up to 11 and reality is encumbered by incredible amounts of pain." It was most likely a feedback loop like a bad dream of sensations puzzled and mashed together in a brain randonly firing off like fireworks or a psychic hedgemaze of delirum for 5 long HORRIBLE years. If he could talk he would probably curse his mother for not aborting him. I'm not cruel. His parents are. On top of the pain he seizes every 10 min or so. Like a computer constantly rebooting itself. We all need to rethink these "miracles" it is most likely that he was in a TON OF PAIN. Jaxons life was the epitome of "better off d3ad" I mean that in the most honest wholesome way ever..

No, I'm not the parent but I have a heart & I see that these parents love their child & don't deserve to have judgmental & ignorant people tell them they should've paid to have him murdered! If you don't see the insanity & hypocrisy in your statement I'm sorry..... Btw, the Dr. Even said she doesn't know, but you somehow think you do.... I was diagnosed after the age 5 even though I was premature at birth. You can never get of disability of the person. The person has to deal with the disability for life.

Bob Judd I agree. And I swear I’m not trying to be mean about it..I feel awful for this child, ‘slight’ seizures, all the meds, zero quality of life?, pretending he can hit the button in the light toy? ‘Sit up like a big boy, He grins, so proud of himself..., his dad: “he responds”, really??? Good lord; it’s incredibly sad...along the lines of the ‘Hartley hooligans’, those girls have since passed- at 13 & 17 (but they were paraded around like circus freaks-it was so appalling) his screeching is no sign of him enjoying any sort of life....very sad to say the least, they’re grasping at straws if they think he said “I love you”, & they reply: he’s ‘Doing so well?” Really? These parents are delusional..

“We didn’t think about termination. We’re Christians.” Yeah, the delusional kind who ignore medical advice. Don’t get me wrong, I feel genuinely sorry for them and their son and I do support religion and faith. I have worked in a facility for people with disabilities. Yes, many can live a satisfying live with some support - I am glad that they exist and I got to meet them. But they are conscious and can express themselves to an extend, communicate, state when they feel pain or need something. However, this little guy here only has enough brain to move really; will likely never walk, talk or eat on his own. It’s even unclear how much of his environment he can feel/ make sense of; if he’ll ever have memories or feel joy. And now the good Christians gave him into care. Surely they loved him, I don’t doubt that. But it was also arrogance and a severe lack of education that led to this. When it got hard, faith wasn’t enough anymore, I guess.

But because this poor baby dosent have much of a brain he cannot comprehend himself, his surroundings, or anything. He cannot remember anything after about a minute and is only living off his brain stem (which controlls the most basic muscle contractions, such as breathing and heartbeat) as well as special feeding tubes. Just wanted to point out that our 5 sense work because of our brain. They didn't mention in the video that the baby is very likely blind, deaf, and can't feel, smell, or taste anything. If this baby even has consciousness, it is sadly living in a total void of nothingness. And remember what the doctor said "There is nothing about this that causes pain PER SE." In other words, whether the child is suffering is a philosophical question, not a medical one. However, the mother says that the doctors told her that the baby "wasn't in any pain". There is a HUGE DIFFERENCE between what the doctor said and what the mother said. Mom is clearly in denial about the pain thing and blocked out that "PER SE" part. I assume that helps her sleep at night.
