One of The Most Dangerous Cities In America - East Cleveland Ohio

Ойын-сауық

East Cleveland is one of the most dangerous cities in America.
This is a documentary about the past and present of East Cleveland. In this video I explored a number of abandoned places in East Cleveland. A large amount of city is abandoned, which leaves places for crimes and killings to take place. Many of the longtime residents still take pride in there homes and their community. I hope this brings the necessary help this city so desperately needs.

America is an eggshell with the hairline cracks showing now soon it's gonna cave tf in on itself , ur gov isn't gonna help u .ppl who keep saying "something needs to be done" need to realise YOU'RE WASTING UR BREATH . Yous hv to learn to share with ea other&start up organised groups who you sign up with by email/ social &they stand up and DEMAND what's needed / wanted/ unwanted by getting the word spread online getting petitions signed(over 10,000 &the gov by law HAS to listen, go bck over plans, re work plans / set up plans, basically do what their constituency is asking) . You can donate a few quid no amount is too low&you don't hv to donate if u can't/ don't want- it's a people powered movement&it has stopped law's being passed here, made gov officials open their financial acc's &spending to the public to view when we knew there was something funny goin on resulting in a forced retirement, it's gotten facilities &gov agencies built&opened for public, stopped things like vacant dangerous high rises from laying dormant&decaying , stopped the proposed&approved opening of a huge landfill& incinerator plant right beside a highly valued rural agricultural village.... the list goes on tgthr we've all achieved so so much more than imagined. People power&working tgthr not complaining gets this type of thing fixed bc ppl don't hv the money BUT tgthr they can put pressure on the gov who do hv it& of course they will ignore a million complaints BUT they cannot ignore an online organised couple 1000 ppl spreading petitions, standing together in protest at a sight in question bc it doesn't go away or get cut from an interview it's on a global platform &keeps coming at them in waves. Good luck America hope its not too late , just don't be the one to " leave it up to someone else" yous ALL need to come together stop the BS , take the initiative &use it -phs/ tablets/ laptops for good work. ✌🏻🤞🏻👩🏻‍💻👨🏻‍💻 time to stop talking time to act....God bless &Good luck

I lived in an abandoned house in east Cleveland. I was heavily addicted to crack and heroin. As bad as this video portrays the city, the people were so damn good to me. They would cook us food and bring it on our door step. Oddly the police were so nice and bought dog food. I had dogs. And the pound would bring us treats and all kinds of dog supplies. The neighborhood I stayed in was all about community. There was a community building where you could shower and the library provided food everyday. I never been in a town that was so good to the less fortunate. I missed up many opportunities there due to my addiction. I'll never forget how Cleveland ppl treated me though. This was in 2017. I found my way back home to Texas and Struggled for years... I am now a year clean and pregnant with my first child. I pray for all of the good folks in Cleveland and that the sour ones are punished.

Doxxing myself a bit, but oh well. I live in Shaker Heights right now, about 10-15 minutes away from EC-moved here in September. It’s just as bad here, too. From day one of moving in, right outside my apartment window-at least 5 times a week-there’s some kind of drive by, shoot out, or whatever violent criminal activity; pretty sure I heard a little girl get killed. I didn’t see it but I heard the screams, then cut off to nothing. There’s more than just that one; but, so far, that incident has really stuck with me. It’s scary and sucks that it’s the only options for a lot of us to live out here in these conditions. Go east of Shaker Square, though-I’m sure you’ve seen the big mansions back in the day? The line is very distinct.

That was when I got transferred to Coventry Elementary for 4th, and 5th grade in Cleveland Heights. It’s happening in other parts of the county, too, this is just what I see the most and it’s strange. Just knowing the reputation of this area and the obvious blight of the entire city, if you scoured every room and every corner of every abandoned building in East Cleveland you'd find enough crack, heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl to knock out the entire state of Ohio. And you'd also find enough illegal and untraced firearms to arm the 158th infantry division. I'm quite certain he knew that risk was very likely he'd stumble on a very hot stash of something just like this. And if it's stashed, someone somewhere knows exactly where it is and what is in there.

you white people live in fear. i live in Cleveland and I've never faced violence. People act like everyone is on drugs and there is random violence against people minding their business. In fact i see more open drug use in white clubs and bars than i do in black neighborhoods. I went to white private schools, and never wanted to move to the suburbs. I never changed my address after college. The main thing i noticed is that even in your "safe" communities whites are miserable. I always wondered why the suburban kids were so angry and depressed all the time. its because you all live in this weird artificial bubble. Your view of the world is wildly different from reality. And I also went to third word countries after college. I met the nicest people there and had the most fun. Then again I'm not white so nobody messes with me in other countries. This guy just confirms your racist views

Xylazine is usually mixed with fentanyl to lengthen fentanyl's euphoric effects. People on this drug combo can usually be observed sleeping on their feet. You can observe this effect by searching for "Kensington" (PA) on KZread. Xylazine is used for sedation, anesthesia, muscle relaxation, and analgesia in animals such as horses, cattle and other non-human mammals - basically a local anesthetic. Veterinarians also use xylazine as an emetic (to cause vomiting), especially in cats.

I spent a good part of the the time I lived there being terrified, always scared especially when I had to walk alone at night because I’m a young girl with no brother or a dad to protect me since he passed away. Being talked about because my mom was on drugs and couldn’t properly provide for me.. I’m just so happy i got away from that environment, I don’t even want to go into detail. Sad and interesting video Chris but so sad to see the decay and destruction of those properties. I'm glad you got out of there unscathed. Take care.

Thank you for the brief history. Very well done, factual, and great photos. I think you would be great at doing a full documentary on Cleveland. I don't live in Ohio. But I am a close neighbor in Michigan. Thank you for sharing. Keep up the great work

Thanks, for the awesome exploration. You are one brave man going in an abandoned places. I had to turn the volume down every time or not look every time you open a door incase people were in there. Those 3 people just gave me the chills, and at the end the drug dealer going on, I was like,😱 " shhh, get out fast!" 😱

I remember this high rise, it was a gem. It sit right across the street from Huron Rd Hospital, so many hospital staff lived there.

Wow! This is a great video. Love how you threw in old pictures and video of how these places looked. Those people passed out 😵 That breaks my heart ❤️ they are someone’s daughter, son, aunt, uncle…ect…all you can do is pray 🙏🏼 for their soul and hope they see the path they meant to be on. That basement tho 😱 scary af! Glad you made it out ok to live another day. Why don’t you take someone with you on your abandoned escapades? Stronger 💪 in numbers. Well made video 🤗
