Eric Clapton- I was playing a big show when I looked into the wings of the stage and there was George. It was at that point that I knew he could play anything”. Harrison was a kid when he wrote these wonderful guitar bits and was done being a Beatle at 27 years old. That is unthinkable and unimaginable that somebody could have that much talent crammed into one body -not to mention the solos on guitar and the extraordinary songwriting that has now lasted 50 or 60 years and counting. Then there is that little group called the Traveling Wilburys. My oh my, we have been so lucky to pass through life at the same time as these massive talents.

Rest in peace George Harrison...💖👏🔥🎉

Suena a bachata
Lots of Traveling Wilbury's in that first bit.
Buddy Holly never played lead on this song , they use the tape he made in the apartment of his voice and his rhythm guitar
Thats a Buddy Holly song
for anyone learning, learn your major triads before this and your major scale.

It's a Country Gentleman 1962 Chet Atkins model called G6122T-62🎸
This song has the same Melody and chord progression of Let It Be?
George Harrison did not even write that it's Buddy Holly's crying waiting hoping
Too bad PM later put George down and George was like F it “ you play what you want”.

That’s not what happened. George was not interested in lead guitar for a couple years because of his interest in sitar. Paul stepped in.
I know that song but I forgot the name, I know the melody 😭 what song is this again

George did a great job of copying Donald Arnone’s overdubbed lead on Buddy Holly’s song.
Hard? Try some Al Dimeola guitar runs.
