I was honestly surprised to like this episode that much. What a great man, into audio and video but using youthman deals all over. Enjoying his equipment to the fullest instead of keeping on focussing on upgrading. It might be an age related thing, from a consumer of equipment to a consumer of content and enjoying life. Wish him good luck learning to play instruments and achieve his life goals!

This is honestly such an underrated set up. And it kind of inspires me for the future as to what I really wanna do with my living space. Being forced with constraints with certain room sizes not being ideal, your talk that you both gave has given me a lot of input as to what I wanna do in the future. I’m 32, so I know I’m still young in the whole home theater game, but making minor upgrades little by little, and especially watching videos like this really inspires me with excitement towards what my future set up could look like!

Don, great system! Just a thought have you tried telling the Anthem that there is no center channel and allowing it and the Tektons to create a phantom center. This should be especially effective for when it is just you seated center. Since you still have 2 spare profiles, if you like the results you can have a profile with the actual center and one with the phantom. I am pretty confident that the phantom center with those Tektons will be able to produce better results than the physical center for the MLP. The phantom image starts to breakdown as you move off center, thus why you may want to keep the physical center around for larger groups.

I enjoyed this video and I am so much like Don because I have 4 systems in our home and I am learning to play the guitar, bass , piano and organ with a full studio. I am going back to the vintage speakers as well I am restoring 6 DCM speakers from the mid 70s to 90s when Steve sold the company to MTX so I can relate or I’m just old. Haha

Great tour, nice to see another non-dedicated set up, My "media center" is in my Den and wife has allowed quite a bit of freedom. Don's got a complete "house of media". And I have some of those same Circuit City Infinity's (including the CC-1) in storage. Too bad I didn't take better care of the towers, actually tossed them about 6 months ago, it was my 3 generation back set up. I'm a couple of years behind Don, but I hope my passion (and hearing) hang on to enjoy the ride as much as he has.

So far I have used 800 gig of storage. If the recording is something I play alot then it is stored in FLAC. For compilations, rarely played music i store them as a MP3. Although lossy it still sounds good and I can always pull the CD and rip in FLAC.

Near the end of the video he also shared that he’s been doing this longer than I have been alive which I think is absolutely phenomenal that his passion for home theater and music has been over 50 years. I made the post before our church service started. I got home 5 minutes before the premiere started. But thanks for your concern about my spiritual life.

@Keeping Up With The Joneses, it can be. But most people use that as an excuse not to go to church.
