Hello once again the question I have is can you tell me why so many pennies have the year 1943 stamped under the date that's actually on them because I have them from 1909 all the way to 1982 that have the number 43 stamped in it is there a reason for this I thought our stamped coins were brand-new planchet that would be a coin with a covered date on top of being a double die am I correct I have so many pennies with 1943 stamped on them that are copper it's unreal but the other day on the front is a different date any answers

kenny petty not sure if this is true, but I heard the 48 was messed with and changed to a 43 years ago. Also heard that due to this it is the most popular wheat penny.

Hi JB, I did find one of these nickels at my job about year and a half ago. The sad part is I did not keep it because I was not into error varieties at the time. I became interested only 10 months ago. Too late and believe me that I am kicking myself looking back on this find. Well carry on as the Brits say!😩

im from norway and i bought a roll of 40 x 1959 5 cent coins becouse i had heard that american pre 1965-4 was silver.... i was sad to see that they arent silver. but luckyly i paid only around 12 dollar for the roll.. hehe but on the + side, the same dealer had almost 20 FACE VALUE real 90% silver PEACE-MORGANS DOLLARS AND HALF DOLLARS he sold for under half spot becouse most norwegians collect norwegian coins and he had those dollars for years hehe

Hi me and my partner have got this coin 2014 and a 2013 five cent coins

I have a couple 2004 D peace nickels. Def saving these.

I have a coin similar to that but it is of the year 1993 and I want to saver if I look in the book of errors and if it has balor thanks

JB look at the FIVE at 2:16 the bottom of the F front is clipped and the E the center end of the bar(??) it is extra long also in the CENTS it shows the extra long feature !! The bottom of the I looks crushed too !! Just FYI !!

You can contact a grading company to get it graded, ANACS or NGC probably? Or, contact a reputable dealer like Great Southern Coins and see what they would offer? Or, check Ebay. Just a couple ideas.

ok jb I have a roll of uncurculated 2016 p Theodore Roosevelt quarter's and the first I looked at as I unrolled the bottom of the roll so back of coin has a line through the date I didn't even open it rest of way because I don't want to decrease value. I only have two rolls, so as I'm comparing the bottom of the roll other roll I notice a die crack along the horses snout is there any known value to these 2 errors? lastly I have a 2008 Arizona d quarter without any copper coloring along the reeded edge. looks like there isn't any copper in it. Any idea of what price that would be?

I have a few coins with this error. Also I have a nickel and a dime which look to me both to have a machine crack on the front of both of them how do I get these looked at

I have a 1984d double pushed nickel.the ended is gone as smashed down the 1984 date the 9 is half gone like like a o,with a line on the bottom of the 0.the hair on the top of Jefferson head could be from the top of the Monticello on the reverse side. And face has marks all over

yeah I got a couple I didn't know what they were and I have a quarter the man's face in the mountain is flattened like it's missing a layer.. definitely done by machine at the mint if you know anything let me know please cheers

I have a nickel that just like that but the wording under the steps are missing and the five cent wording is gone and the other wording is all double die and wording is going across his face and its a different color . its a strange coin it has a bumpy texture and it almost like has a waffle pattern on the face of it ..I wished I could post a picture its fun coin its my favorite and I have dimes with the leaf that is supposed to be on the back its in his nose.

I have a 1972 nickel that has the same exact markings as the 2014 error nickel.The 3 marks on his cheeks and something on the back maybe his ponytail.. Maybe a dye clash..can u help me find out if this is a error coin

Jason Miller I found a 2016 Philadelphia Jefferson nickel with The Blob sticking out of the left side and it's definitely error from the die can you tell me if you seen anything like it

i had one in my pocket and accidently spent it im in florida 3 weeks later someone posted from indiana coin show sold for 600 dollars im beside myself no more all change stays in house

I have a nickel 2014 .p whith many errors

okay I'm the person who's going through 40's plus years of coins. most of what is said, I didn't understand. and at this point I don't care. I just want this stuff gone. BUT I've seen many of those " rolled ?? where the lettering goes right up to the edge of the coin. most are in pretty good shape. pre 1999. Quartes and other coins. do they have some value?? other than face value. if not, I'm just going to roll most of this up and take to the bank and cash them in. I'll keep copper and silver. thanking you in advance Mary

The only thing that really shows up on that nickel is his eyes it is the weirdest nickel have ever seen But in a cool creepy kind of way

depending on the mint it could be worth a dollar to 30 dollars in ms condition.anything less would probably just be 5 cents
