I always wanted her to go far in elite, she's terrific. but the competition leading to Paris is insane, so who knows who will make it.

She needs huge upgrades on vault, floor and beam. The routines she did at the Winter Cup are what they competed in the 80's and no where near the difficulties of the Eastern Europeans, not even close, even back then. Competing with her current difficulties on those events in NCAA is one thing and competing against a group of hungry teens in Elite is another. I'm not hating on Trinity, I wish her well but one must face reality.

She did really well when she was in elite before going to NCAA but she was just very much in the mix with Simone and so her talent kind of got overshadowed.

She was an elite/national team member before and during her NCAA years. She's even got a Biles (1) on floor. It's really too bad that they cut the Olympic teams down to 4 athletes. There are so many amazing gymnasts that deserve an opportunity.

She beat the REIGNING OLYMPIC ALL AROUND CHAMPION Suni Lee head to head every time for two years during the regular season, SEC Championship and NCAA Championship. She also consistently beat the Gold, Silver and Bronze WORLD ALL AROUND CHAMPIONS on her own team every week. They all worship her. She's Trinity Thomas. All hail the Queen.

Trinity is an amazing gymnast with great lines and style on most events. But it’s going to be extremely difficult for her to make the team considering all of the talent that’s coming back for 2024. Barring injuries, Simone (the GOAT) is a lock for the team. I would say that Suni Lee (defending Olympic Champion) is a virtual lock as well. Outside of those two, I would say that Shilese Jones has the most likely chance of making the team as she seems the most consistent. Then you have the second tier which includes Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, and Leanne Wong. And finally, some dark horses like Konner McClain, Sky Blakely, Kayla Dicello, and Olympic Champion Gabby Douglas who’s making a comeback as well. Trinity will essentially be in that group. I’d love for her to be on the team, but realistically - can she beat all of those other gymnasts for a spot on a 5 person team?
